The “fugitive buying a broom” plot hole isn’t much of one. The goblins hate wizards, that’s clear, and the Ministry has far less control over the bank than they’d like. So that’s funding solved. And he explicitly says he ordered it. Mail order purchasing is not a new thing. Problem solved.

The only real plot hole in the story is the fact that term always starts on September 1st, which as everyone knows, isn't always on a Sunday.

Lupin interrogating Harry Potter means the scene was from the POV of Harry which means the others could've been interrogated

The whole reason that harry doesn’t use the mirror is because he never opens the present with it in that sirius gave him. For what seems to be a well written video essay it comes across as if you’ve maybe glanced at the books at best

As far as Lupin only checking Harry, it's because the stories are mostly told from Harry's PoV.  He and the others likely verified each other consistently off page.

I've always thought the snitch would work better if there were more of them.  Three of them, worth 30, 50, and 70 points.  Either they're each different with the 30 point snitch larger and slower and the 70 point snitch is the smallest and fastest.  Or they're all the same, but start off slow and the remaining snitch(es) get faster as each one is caught.

The mirror isn't a plot hole.  It's a character flaw.  Harry was so completely lost in his own teenage angst, that he forgot about the mirror and rushed off to "save" Sirius.  This is a flaw they share as Sirius got himself killed "rushing off" to save Harry.

Yeah, Harry's plan with the wand is pretty dumb.  Heck, if you consider "The Cursed Child" canon, then Delphini is technically the master of the elder wand as she disarms Harry.  However, she is then defeated by the group.  So the question comes down to who the wand credits with defeating her.  This actually makes Harry's plan a bit better as the "true master" issue isn't really certain any more and thus it becomes harder to trace ownership of the wand.

Sirius buying the broom is a simple issue.  The Goblins control his money and they don't care about his status as a wanted man.  He could just write the letter authorizing the purchase, send it to Gringotts and they can verify it is really from him through magic.  Him being a murderer by wizard standards doesn't matter to the goblins because that's a wizard problem.  His money is good as far as they're concerned.  This is also why they don't make a fuss when a known murderess like Bellatrix walks in to inspect her vault.  As the saying goes, "not their monkeys, not their circus".

The "werewolf cubs" thing is less a plot hole and more just a thing that is not addressed in the book. Like at the end of the day, it's magic and magic is not real and doesn't conform to the normal laws of the universe. Saying "actually if two werewolves mate while they are werewolves it produces not a person who is a werewolf but a wolf with human-like intelligence" is no less a plot hole than basically anything else in the magical world that doesn't seem to conform to things. I mean if you want to get technical about it, you could argue that lycanthropy in the magical world means some kind of DNA change triggered by exposure to the full moon and reversed once the moon is no longer full. So while in the midst of that transformation, the resultant offspring are going to have a different DNA structure than a human.

As for Sirius buying the broom using Harry’s name but his volt, is probably just Goblins. Goblins are known not to really care about it. They just fallowed the instructions.

Dumbledore knew Tom had something to do with the chamber of secrets, but had no proof. His main goal was to protect Hagrid. Since Hagrid was framed for the first opening, Tom wouldn’t attack anyone again, because Hagrid got the blame. Tom didn’t want the school closed, so he had to leave the Chamber closed. But he made the diary horcrux, so it could be opened again.

The only part that I think is not a plothole is the thing with Voldemorts want. We know that if a wizard turns into an animal, their clothing, carried items and wants turn with them. The other animagi always keep their wands on their bodies when they turn. So, while it is not clear how the want survived the explosion, Peter could simply picked it up in human form and carried it with him as a rat, part of his transformed body.

I would venture a few issues with your poly juice potion. 1) it was a lengthy process 2) you have to take something like hair from the person you want to look like 3) it tastes awful 4) it’s a short lived potion

Interesting upload thank you. Any chance of a Mr man or Mr Benn. Or Paddington dissection of world building too. 😊

It’s even crazier at today’s gold prices a single Galleon contains a solid ounce of pure 24 karat gold that’s 4,400 dollars.

A better question for the mirror is, why didn't Sirius suggest they use it instead of the dumb fire floo network thingy.

Galeons aren't solid pure gold

There are dozens of plotholes and inconsistencies in HP but none that ever hurt the story for me

15:18 - you misspelled practical.

And muggle CCTV cameras would have solved so many mysteries at Hogwarts

Rowling isn't a great world builder or a super logical storyteller but it's clear that you are primarily not a bookreader and have your own logical inconsistencies, because barely any off them are actual plot holes.

After watching these series I feel so stupid 😭

I used to love this series, then I grew up and saw how poopie caca it is
