Today's topic is "What to do when you want to die."
I'll introduce emergency response methods.
I don't know who will watch this video, but it's primarily aimed at people who are currently distressed, as well as their family and friends.
I'll talk about what to do when you're feeling "Ahhh..." right now.
■ Stay calm first
First, take a slow, slow breath.
Take a deep breath and exhale.
If your doctor has prescribed medication, take it. If you've been prescribed an emergency medication, take it.
Anyway, let's go to sleep tonight.
If you sleep tonight, tomorrow will be a different story.
First, think about surviving these five minutes, these 10 minutes, these 30 minutes, these hour, this night.
First, stay calm.
■ Rephrasing Yourself
How do you communicate your desire to die? Simply repeating the phrase "I want to die" over and over won't work.
The other person will also be overwhelmed and won't be able to properly understand your feelings.
Even if they want to help you, they won't be able to.
That's why I recommend rephrasing your words.
Instead of saying "I want to die," try expressing your feelings in more detail, such as "I'm in pain," "I'm in despair," "My job is hard," "I want to take a break but they won't let me," "I want to talk honestly with my parents but they won't listen," "I'm suffering from an inferiority complex," "I can't do well on tests," "I can't do my homework well," or "No matter how hard I try, I can't do as well as other people."
Don't be abstract, but talk more specifically about what's bothering you.
It's okay if you can't speak well.
But just talk.
Then, while watching the other person's reaction, try rephrasing what you're saying.
If they don't understand your reaction, instead of louder about wanting to die, calmly explain your problem in more detail and with more specificity. If you do that, being specific and detailed will make it easier for the other person to give you advice.
I recommend that you do that.
In some cases, use ChatGPT to speak for your current feelings, break down your current emotions, and think about solutions step by step. Talking about things like that can help, so please do so.
■ Consult with family, friends, or a professional
You could ask family or friends, but consulting every day can also be tiring for the other person, so it's also a good idea to consult a professional.
If it's difficult to consult a professional right now, please call the emergency contact numbers and government-provided contact numbers I'll explain below.
Suicide is quite difficult.
I saw something like UptoDate and data showed that only 22% of people who commit suicide express their desire to end their life during the medical examination.
It's also true that people die because they can't say it.

■About 10% of People Live in Anxiety
Approximately 10% of children suffer from depression.
So it's not a small number. It's not uncommon.
It's completely normal.
But I think many people don't seek medical treatment unless it's serious enough to warrant a psychiatric consultation, or think they're not depressed, that they're just feeling unwell, or that they're just being spoiled.
You might say that everyone is suffering, but this 10% is different from the other 90%.
I want people to understand that.
The same goes for adults.
I'd say that probably only about 20% of people experience depression.
I'd say 20-30% of people experience depression at some point in their lives.
Currently, 3-4% of people are depressed or in a state of depression.
If you combine those who are receiving treatment and those who aren't, I think the number is probably a little more, but less than 10%.
Less than 10% of peo...
