Painting an Angels of Death Raptor Kill Team is on the agenda this week. I'm looking to try and push my painting along a bit so I'm following a PDF from the Mighty Brush.

Well done Pat, they look great. I liked your attitude when it came to the peeling undercoat, "free battle damage". Spoken like a true son of the grim dark future.

Always a good day to see Raptors love! Great job!

Painting a Kill Team is just such a more attainable goal than an entire army. Towit I have 10 fully painted Kill Teams, and exactly 0 fully painted 40K armies 😂.

Shoulder pad over spray solution:
I am doing a black templar project and did the same thing with masking off. Once you've done the putty use cling film to wrap around all the other areas. Great way of quickly masking when you don't need it to be accurate.

I love a good painting video, love to see someone's way on how to approach a problem, task, or mission.

First video I've watched in a while from you guys. Don't get me wrong, some of the interviews are good. But I really enjoy the painting videos.

The trick is grouping a few kill teams together, and before you know it you have a 500 point 40K army 😅 lol

A tip for removing the liquid mask: a silicon clay shaper is great for it, or while you have the brush out put a little liquid mask on something else (flat plastic is ideal) and you can use that extra bit to not only tell when it's cured without touching your model, but you can peel that up and use it go grab and pull up the mask on your model.
