I just want to be able to pick up in raid supplies on an iron. Every iron has experienced a main picking up your overload etc., and now can't give it back.

I do not have an iron, just a main account that I play like an iron, but my take is this:

Since there are instances of group content that ironmen are not allowed to do with non-irons, then Jagex clearly has exceptions to the "you stand alone" philosophy with respect to the group content you can mix accounts in, like raids. Trying to draw the line at accept aid because pot share would be too strong when you're getting carried by 3 mains with a mega rare feels arbitrary. Plus, as mentioned, this requires that the mains are running lunars to begin with, and since venge already has its own cooldown, making irons who can't cast it themselves a valid target just dilutes who's getting a vengeance. Unless the time between venges is much longer than 30 seconds, venging the iron is one less main with venge (which applies to exactly one use case: CoX before the raid starts and while doing prep).

So, in summary, I see no issue with being able to venge an iron. I don't think pot share will be too impactful. As far as moths go, irons have already been rushing moths since they came out, I wish they worked whenever I bring them for the low stakes situations i bring them to like volcanic mine, and bringing them in harder content is an active decision to not bring a prayer pot. Irons still need to make their own prayer pots or catch their own moths for the other 98% of the game that isn't group content, so it's not like they can just skip it anyways.

"I shouldnt be able to get anything"... Did we all just forget about defense reductions,  having someone freeze muttadile for you, having someone run olm head so you take less damage... Irons get help all the time.  It's necessary for our group content to work

As someone with an endgame main and now a midgame iron, I’ll just say that surely being able to ToB with maxed mains with scythes is more helpful than any of those mains pot sharing with you.

There’s content like Corp where you do not get drops if anyone helps you, and then there’s bosses like Raids, Nex, Yama, Titans, etc where you no longer need to stand alone. I don’t know why we ended up in this halfway scenario where you now kind of sort of stand alone. You’re allowed to do team content but you can’t really play as a team.

Doing CoX on my Ironman with my other ironman friends is the actual worst experience. We cant use shared chest, cant just drop buchu seeds for someone else to grab and plant, there's no excuse for how shitty multi-ironman cox feels. If the supplies come from the group content, like in Chambers... then who cares. Its raid exclusive items, all it would do is make the raid a smoother experience for everyone involved. Chambers is janky enough at times. I also could care less about Veng. It's trivial.

The ultimate hot take is that accept aid should be on for irons to encourage alting to give more money to jagex

It's so funny to worry about ironmen abusing heal other when megascales have existed for years

Venge doesn't contribute to any raid contribution points for anyone as far as I know.

If you veng you are indeed nulling points in all instances

it would be nice if irons could be able to pick up any overload and P enhanced after i drop them from my main, its ok in duos but in trios with 2 irons someone gets left out

I really like the idea Venge specifically even if the end details needed to be worked out, but I don't feel strongly either way with the exception of the cooldown idea I feel that would be needlessly complex. I'd love to see them look at Irons giving to other accounts too. I’ve never understood why my Iron can't host my mains or friends. My Iron has 90 Con while my mains are around 82, and not being able to show off the house I've built over the years or host on W330 really kills the fun of it. The only benefit to my Iron would be a main lighting my altar burners which hasn't been the prayer meta for years anyway.

I think it would be fine to allow venge in places where irons can also accept Horn (nightmare, nex, titans, yama, and raids) but I don't see it being necessary. It would be cool to see the Rendi or Kempq type player get a voidwaker and PK with it though.

Also, the talk about accept aid gave me a flashback to being a kid and seeing some giga chad train their magic by casting tele other on a swarm of noobs who though it was the coolest thing for someone else to tele them to Camelot.

Ironmen should be able to receive aid in group content. Lunars raises the skill ceiling and team coordination of raids and limiting that skill expression is inhibiting some part of the fun in that content. I'm fine with it only being enabled in instanced raids.

Give it 5 years, everything is gonna come full circle and people will be back playing main accounts

The only aid Ironman should be able to except imo is pots and other raid items made by other players, if you are in a raid team I feel like it should be considered a mini group Ironman so you can give them supplies you don’t need like the pots you make in toa

good points on both sides, personally something that drives me a little crazy about some aspects of the game is how certain things work in some places but not others (wilderness is plagued with this) so im not a big fan of making some things work but only in certain places (even raids)

In group content you should be able to benefit the group and benefit from the group. Not saying you should be able to camp your iron on a slayer task and resto their prayer and spec but if you're inside an instance the game shouldn't suddenly feel like garbage to play. This is still a multiplayer game.
