Unusual Things

The Aberfan Disaster remains one of the most tragic events in Welsh history. On 21 October 1966, a coal spoil tip collapsed above the village of Aberfan, sending a wave of slurry into Pantglas Junior School and nearby homes.
The disaster claimed 144 lives, including 116 children, and changed the community forever.
In this video, I explore what really happened at Aberfan, how the collapse unfolded, the heartbreaking impact on the village, and the strength shown by the families and community in the years that followed.
This film is made with love, remembrance, and deep respect for the people of Aberfan — past and present

So sad, crying, especially seeing their little faces on the headstones. X
Thankyou for your respectful video of this awful tragedy.
Those poor victims
RIP to them all
Thank you for sharing this tragedy with us all Paul
RIP to all who lost their lives that day. My thoughts are with the survivors, the Aberfan residents who tried so hard to help, and everyone affected by this tragedy.
