such a smart teaser to have a wounded silverwings on xin zhao's visions now that we know that's zaahen spiritual animal

i love how they used arabic, my own language. and the translation is on point btw. love the vid keep up the good work

I hope one day the Zaahen and Aatrox lore will be updated and mention both of them... since Aatrox is champion of the Empire - Shurima &  Noble Strong Warrior

Darkins can changed form because of their carnomancy. They usually changed their form to achieve greater power and strength. This also causes them to lose their humanity. I speculate that Zaheen took a more human form to not scare people and to keep his sanity. But it seems that what's corrupting him is the fear of himself loosing control. This fear is in the back burner of his mind slowly transforming him. When he claimed the physical form of xhin zhao, his fear of himself was actively consuming him whilst sealed in the glaive. This manifested as horns and jetblack and red cape/wing appendage instead of feathered wings.

zaahen theme song is fucking godlike

honestly, it has been a very long time since i liked a character's lore and personality this much

nevertheless,  his design. ... i think his design isn't bad, it's just... relatively mediocre for this game
and i still don't understand why they gave him a frame that huge, like the Darius level huge
It just doesn't reflect that bird feeling he had
//especially considering that he didn't keep Xin's proportions anyway, because they stretched him to two meters [without the horns] // and if you look at his concept art, those silhouettes look much more appealing to me than what we got. but that’s a matter of taste

in any case i am immensely grateful to you for contributing so much to the understanding and analysis of his lore c:

If I were to guess how Atakhan  knew of the Darkin Weapon, I have two theories.

1. Since it is a creature from the Spirit World drawn to carnage, a Darkin weapon probably has a lot of allure and could be sensed by it.

2. It was around during the Darkin Wars in Ionia. Since it was a time of immense conflict and rife with Spirits already.

💛⭐️

can you explain more on the great darkin war, what exacly led to it, and this war you talk about with the void???

I don't understand why zaahen changes from a silverwing to a darkin. From what i recall darkin changed because of hemomancy, but zaahen wasn't corrupted before being sealed in the glaive.

Zaahen is distorted pronunciation of Shaheen. Arabic for Eagle.

Who's reading the Zaahen's quotes ? I can't find any credit

I like his lore but not his kit! 😅

why do lore commentators have these annoying voices
