3:13 In the lore, Diana’s involvement—and her joining the Sentinels—is justified because Viego resurrected the Aspect of War. Atreus and Viego were nearly evenly matched, but Viego ultimately defeated Atreus. When he did, he wounded him and resurrected the dead Aspect of War, Pantheon the Celestial. With his power restored to 100%, another Aspect was needed to contain that Aspect. That Aspect was Diana, the Aspect of the Moon. This does not mean that Viego is stronger than Diana; rather, in the lore Diana was extremely busy fighting Pantheon’s armies and Pantheon himself in a celestial war—or, more precisely, an Aspect-versus-Aspect war. Not against Viego directly. Without Diana in the lore, Pantheon would likely have swept through the Sentinels. And finally, a brief reminder: the cinematics are not fully canon; they are only representations.

Taric really is just some guy with outrageous gems huh

For me, regarding Pantheon/Atreus, Pantheon is really dead but Atreus earned the powers of Pantheon that, despite the Aspect dead, he still retains his power as a demigod; godly powers but human resolve. Think Kayle and Morgana, none of them were Aspects of justice like their mother yet they inherited her power in enacting their individual sense of justice.

insane refresh pull

I'm a simple man.
I see Diana, I click.

Pantheon does have some of the wonkiest lore but it's still my favorite. He's the Guts of LoL. Against all odds as a mortal man, he keeps pushing forward with nothing but an unbreakable will and badassery. Plus his in game quotes are 🐐 ed

3:13 I might be wrong about this, but in the bio for Diana's sentinel skin it says Diana joined the sentinels because Viego was already controlling Pantheon and "the only way to fight an Aspect's power is with another Aspect".

I always interpreted this as saying Diana (or any other aspect) could beat Viego, but being able to use Pantheon as a counter protects him. Essentially Diana and Pantheon cancel each other out, but Diana would still beat Viego if Pantheon wasn't there. Does anyone have any other indication that Viego could beat her?

5:41 Aatrox the war ender

Deciding my jungler pick for the day LETS GOOO

love taric honestly and diana/leona deserve their own moment in a series like arcane. i was already bummed we didn't get to see someoen like janna because she is from zaun.

I love the sound you put in when you’re switching between the talking points.

13:57 Chorus from HSR!!!

i love league lore .

I would like to see their own parts here for Kayle and Morgana as honorable mention

its all fun and games until the little girl causes the universe to explode because she lost at tag.

ok there is no way leona did the entire crafting recipe of the zenith blade

The god died. The man lives.

i always found it very "riot games ambiguous" that Diana and Leona host the sun and moon SISTERS, while they are clearly into each other (and literally have a promise ring aka Empyrean Promise)

W videos as always navi

Ok before I wathc this video... Taric better be HIGH up there.
