My summer of 1987 condensed in less than 10 minutes.

This guy, casually having conversation with chat while speed running through a game that took my soul one summer

Federation- Samus, your free to go on your lunch break.

Samus-Alright, let me just save this planet really quick. I'll be back in 10 minutes.

Smuggling that enemy into the kraid/ridley statue room to use the ice beam was CLUTCH, dang

It warms my heart to see fresh Metroid runs in 2026 that are actually decent!

We would spend months of not years playing this as kids and never beat it. Speed runners now do it faster than you can cook a frozen pizza.

9:19 he had exactly the right amount of missiles for the entire room

Watching someone absolutely spank a game I don't have the skill to ever finish is just so satisfying, congratulations!

No way he did all that and beat it with 0 missiles left. Insane. I used to play this as a kid in the late 80’s early 90’s. Hats off sir

This game felt so vast, massive map, different colors/music gave areas distinct feels, this sht was TOP TIER for the time.

That was nuts. Last missile. I was freaking out. Very spicy!

all of the headaches, discoveries, and victories summed up in 10 min!  Imagine time traveling and showing your former self this video 🤯

Just amazing! At last the sub-10!! And 4th place!!! It had to come sooner or later especially after all that heavy Mother Brain practice and these last sessions with so many great paces!!!!
Congrats again Missiles, very well deserved!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳

I love that chat (including me) had distracted you so much with random topics that you did a great run at the start, then you locked in for the ending, and BAM!  Congrats!

You got further in the first 30 seconds than I did in five years

Lore accurate Samus.

Perfect missle spawning right before mama brain was nice

2026 and this shit is still relevant.  METROID = GOAT

Your lucky successful missile farm! That "ooooo" covered a LOT of emotions! 😅

...and he is in the singe digit club! NICE MAN!!!!
