Welcome to Gray Blending 101 — a series where I’m breaking down gray blending in a simple, easy-to-understand way so you can better understand your options and decide what approach makes sense for you and your hair.

In this first video, we’re starting with the basics: What actually is gray blending?

Gray blending isn’t one specific technique or product. It’s really an umbrella term for creating a softer transition between your natural gray and the rest of your hair — and there are several different ways to achieve that.
