Shout out for saying blue-violet more often than "blurple"! I've added so many of these to my list of inks to try.

Diamine, Sailor, Troublemaker and Van Dieman taking the cake for me on this one lol

Schneider Lilac is my go-to for that shade.

I love greyish lavender colors kinda stormy looking and moody

The Sailor Ink Studio line isn’t going away, but they are discontinuing 60 shades from the line. They still have 100 shades left after the discontinued shades.

My VD Twilight Mist is definitely not as saturated as yours, also a little bluer I think. Thanks for sharing all your lavender/lilac. I am the not too girly girl who painted my bedroom lilac when I was 12 and then again when I was 17. ☺️

Another good lilac is Vinta’s Takipsilim (Twilight)!

A lovely assortment of colours. Agree completely about Diamine Shimmertastic inks, love them! 👏

I want them all pls and thank you!

*I love this series :) Monteverdes Purple mist could be added to this category. It's a beautiful colour and very well behaved, but too light for daily use for me. My favourite of these are Kobe 56 Rokko Shichidanka and Diamine Lilac Satin.

I am absolutely in love with all these kitty inkpot inks! I want them all!

Oh such lovely colors! 💜 Thank you for sharing!

These are insanely beautiful! Another option for this color family is Robert Oster's Sydney Lavender. It's a phenomenal shade with so much depth and murkiness, yet very much lavender. It's become one of my daily writing inks!

Tono & Lims "Amethyst" and Ferris Wheel Press "Moonbeam Meadows" would both fit well in that group of lilac and lavender shades! I keep trying Van Dieman's "Ragdoll Kiss" but so far it has clogged every pen I've put it in, even one with a broad nib. Someday I'll find a pen it plays nicely with!

Hiii I love your ink explorations!! Its been my go to when I pick out my inks. Could you perhaps do ink exploration on Permanent/ pigment inks? Thank you!

thanks for sharing, such a lovely spread, I also have a full bottle of Jacaranda and reakky love it. I recently bought FWP Moonbean Meadows for a softer lavender tone with shimmer and Robert Oster Tempest Sky again for asoft lilac/lavender, but with no shimmer

The two lavender-ish inks I have is From Cali and Milky Lavender, both by Colorverse. Ones a bit more pink toned and ones a bit more blue toned. Both are beautiful and write well, though I have experienced the writing getting lighter the farther I get in the writing session with both inks. It doesn't happen every time, but it does happen. They remain legible the whole time.

I watch to sort inks, it helps. I've been ordering from most of your swatch posts, but many of the ones I choose are sold out. I'm getting some that you don't swatch that are in stock at Soe&Soe. Thanks for the work swatching. BTW, I use a paper Canopus Notes, very hard to find, but S&S had it.

I mix the Wearingeul Jane Eyre and Glass Bead Game in about a 1:4 Jane Eyre to Glass Bead Game ratio, and it gives the Jane Eyre a lovely shimmer with a bit of the shading from Glass Bead Game.
