Very glad to have been a small part of Adam’s Ernie journey - long live this silly little show!

(Btw sorry for basically ruining your life ❤️)

This isn't your average Ernie anymore.

This is an Advanced, Optimal Ernie.

This is not a joke anymore. This is a beautiful addiction.

Learning that Underground Ernie was expected to run into 2012 for the London Olympics is funny, because IMAGINE if Ernie ran alongside Chuggington Season 3 and Thomas Season 16.

I loved when Ernie said “It’s Ernie time” and then he Ernied all over the place, truly the EEERNIIEEEE of all time

To be honest, the sketches look way better than the final animation results. It would be easier if they did a blend of 2D animation and 3D animation, just like Little Einsteins.

FUN FACT:

There's a Polish Dub of "Underground Ernie" called "Zawiadowca Ernie" which literally means "Stationmaster Ernie" in Polish.

23 Episodes are available on the Internet with this dub.

However 3 episodes are considered to be THE LOST MEDIA

- Episode 9 "The Magician's Assistant"

- Episode 14 "Running Late"

- Episode 25 "Techno Trouble!"

With all this new information about Ernie coming out and how turbulent it's production was, it kind of reminds of TUGS in a way. That show also had a turbulent production with tight budgets and plans for a second season that ended up being cancelled. And now years later thanks to fans, both of these shows have cult followings.

14:52 “The Hammersmiths & City” sounds like a band name, specifically the “The Hammersmiths” part.
