imma be real I thought Dev died

Simple. Because there's nothing normal about 9/11

4:55 For context, back in 1989 Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage were in a feud with The Big Bossman and Akeem, the African Dream, known by the tag team name of "The Twin Towers"

"never let a good crisis go to waste"

There's a pretty big difference between hating all of X people because of ideology.  And saying we can't trust people of X ideology because of these trends that keep happening that they ignore or will actively not address.
Even worse when people from places like the UAE (full muslim country) takes a look at the muslims in places like Canada and the UK and tells you they should be treated as serious threats - kick them out or jail them, and you ignore them.   It's more on you.

17:16 This guy is a hell of a promo, shame he's using that talent for this

"Macfarlane was actually not an essential part of the plot, so the rest of the hijackers proceeded without him."

Way to make me pay attention to this in the background.

6:04 My Aunt's birthday is on the day of JFK's Assassination, she cried on the day it happened "Why did the president have to die on MY birthday!?"

welcome back dev

Leftists reading "a letter to America" and shocked to find out that they are basically operating the same code that terrorists were using :O

The worst part is their conclusion to having this thought is that the terrorists were right and not that American politics have gotten way too extreme

I've laughed a bit at the reverse-Basil: liberals will say "firebombing a walmart pales in comparison to my strategy of winning an election" and then not win an election

Dev, please stop exposing me to Tiktok.

7/7 was the first big terror attack in britain post-9/11 and post-NI. We were making jokes at school as soon as we heard about it. It was the day after we won the right to host the 2012 olympics and we won against france so everyone was joking they bombed us in revenge (making jokes about the french is kind of a full time job for brits anyway).

Obviously less people died in 7/7 (52) but we're a smaller country and it was genuinely shocking (I'm from near london two so it did feel very real because getting the tube is a normal thing for me).

But sometimes you need to laugh, it doesn't mean you don't care and obviously you would never say it to a family member of a victim but it's a normal psychological coping strategy.

Dev nostalgia baiting by releasing a YouTube video

“Remember when I made YouTube videos? Remember?”

31:06 I'd say anyone in the towers knowingly pregnant gave birth to a survivor.

As Gen Z I was alive during 9/11. I was just 6 months old 💀

I remembered back then that George W. Bush used to be the worst president at the time after Iraq war

Love you Dev, please keep it up

The kids thinking that the early 2000s were the tech level of the 1970s never fails to amuse me

Good to see your back
