The autopsy of jane doe was so good

Asian horror really do it better than anyone else fr 💀

"Michael Myers, but more rounded."

I hate you.

The very first Conjuring film deserves it's props for changing the culture as well. Especially since it's a bench mark for most possession stories nowadays

Megan is missing is considered a cult classic for the last 20 minutes where it shifts from a moderately paced movie to pure shock value though

Martyrs... was something else really. I still can't muster the courage to rewatch it and I LOVE horror movies. Easily one of the best horror movies of all time.

I've always said that Alien is the greatest horror movie ever made. Nearly 50 years old, and it still holds up today. H. R. Giger's design for the alien is absolutely timeless

After i got out of the army(infantry). I became a mortician. I have seen the worst things humanly imaginable. I am also a big horror fan. I had a nightmare the other night that made me wake up grabbing my wife in her sleep, trying to save her. Every time I think about this nightmare I get chills. If I had the means, or the know how. Id be able to make the most fucked up horror movie ever. My mom past away two years ago. I picked her up after she died. She was a devoted Christian. I had i dream I dug her up with my hands because I missed her. She sat up out of her casket, saying (gods not real, son dont put me back in there! Please, please bubba im scared!) The dream with my mom had nothing on the one that woke me up screaming.

0:56 Absolutely honest but crazy thing to say 💀

The grudge was the scariest movie  I've ever seen when I was a kid. Made me scared to close my eyes in the shower

The first paranormal activity was pure nightmare fuel. The tension, the errie atmosphere of a couple just living their lives out as something strange and sinister unfolds and the hopelessness of the situation by the end of the film. I honestly could not sleep for weeks after.  VHS 1 and two are extreamly good and scary as well.

The Thing should be GOAT.

The Last Shift was one of the more unsettling horror movies I've watched as of late. Both visually disturbing and highly disorienting/mind-bending. A good one to watch with the volume all the way up.

Not adding Incantation at the top of the list is diabolical

I watched martyrs last night and im still thinking about it today.  A movie hasn't done that to me in a long time.

i'd put Ring (japanese version) and The Blair Witch Project on your tier 7. Two movies with respectively low bodget and no budget, but achieve pure terror...

Your movie recommendations are soo good you should make a website or something where 7 levels of every genre you recommend
Edit: and you add movies to that website as you upload videos on youtube

It's not fair to have almost all of level 2 be horror comedy. Horror comedy is its own genre and for a good reason. Llamaggedon and velocipastor are masterpieces and are clearly meant to be comedic with a hint of horror.

Another level 5 candidate, for some of the same reasons as Audition, is Carved 2: the Scissors Massacre.
Fairly whimsical slice-of-life -> depressing drama -> horror, with each transition being sudden, break-neck, and fairly plausible.
