Thank you for this video. As someone with a 13 Mini who really has no clue where to go in a few years when this one quits, I found this very informative.

2:26 I was able to customize the cover screen more by removing the now brief and replacing it with 9 of my favorite apps + widget calendar! I rarely have to open my flip anymore and it's way more useful than the original setup.

Why have u never done an iPhone to moto razr ultra video?

@kumbaga 11 days ago

I have a 13 mini and it's already having issues especially with battery life and suddenly freezes, so now I'm torn between expensive flip or get a pixel 10a. I get a new phone every 5 years so the flip screen might not last

You flipped, but are you gonna fold?

The real good move is to the fold 8, the aspect ratio of the flip too wide

For those 5 app slots on the daily brief cover screen, is it possible to select any 5 apps for that position? Thanks.

I keep an iPhone 13 mini as my secondary phone. The Samsung Z Flip series used to be the best compact phone “alternative” (no, the outer screen doesn’t make it a compact). That’s because though it was tall, it was skinny so with the right case like a woven strap one, you could do one hand usage (The woven strap keeps your hand loose to move up and down). But starting with the flip7 Samsung made the phone too wide, and now you can’t do one hand anymore, which really sucks. I had every single flip from the Flip3 to the Flip6 and after realizing they are not going to make a Flip8 FE this summer, I’ve decided to try out the Razr ultra 2025, which is supposed to be narrower than the Flip7. But so far this Razr flip feels too wide and bulky too. RIP to the best form factor Android ever had.
Update: Razr Flip 2025 Ultra did not work, still too wide. Ironically found my one hand usage white whale in the Fold8 Ultra.

I'd like to know how the screen looks after using it for a while and how it works without relying on Apple's ecosystem.

Lol the iphone fold is releasing this year...

I recommend keeping those nails the exact length they are now if you ever plan on daily driving a wussy phone like this. These full screen foldable phones are so fragile (especially the screens) I have absolutely no idea why they sell so well and why apple might be making one for the next release of iphones..
