I upgraded from an iPhone 11 to 17. It was definitely a good decision

As an iPhone 12 mini user, I got offended… 76% battery health ain’t nothing to joke about.

This is honestly the best iphone buying guide for 2026. Well done. And yes ur right the iphone 12 and 13 pro are perfectly usable even today and will continue to be so for atleast a couple of years if ur on a budget. 15 pro is definitely worth it as it offers 95% of what the 16 and 17 offer. 18 pro is just insanely priced and offers too little. And well, the people who can buy the iphone duo would probably never bother watching this video anyways lol.

The duos animation when opening and closing is so satisfying. It gives it the illusion it a piece of glass

I would say the iPhones with the odd numbers are the solid choices - 13 and 13 pros are great phones. Had a 13 nearly got a 15 pro on Apple Refurbished but paid the £40 extra and got a base 17, which went up £100 this week.
Never buy a product based on how good it is…always buy based on how bad the current product you have is.

I got the 17 a week before the launch event for 18 Pro/Duo. I’m fortunate I know someone at an Apple Store who told me to ‘buy now’ if I wanted the 17, he had a hunch we’d see a price rise. With a discount I got my sage green 17 for $663 brand new, I’m really happy with it, and now it feels like an absolute steal. 😊

Just upgraded from the 13 to the 17 and the best decision ever

I’m from the Philippines and I bought my iPhone 16 earlier this year for P45,000, now it is priced for P62,000. 😁

I love my 16 plus. Love the big screen

@maxarre 3 weeks ago

Just moved from a 16e to a 14 Pro and couldn’t be happier. Much better camera and screen, just as fast or faster, much tougher build quality for surviving drops. Locking it on iOS 26 and optimizing it a bit so it runs fast until 2032 or so when I grab a used iPhone 20 Pro off swappa for 1/4 msrp.

Idk so far I’ve loved the plus line. My 14 plus and now 16 plus have both been great phones.

Not gonna lie I hope they bring it back for the 18

the prices just make no sense. my sister and me planned on getting the regular 17 on a good discount after the 18 Pro / Pro Max release, we ended up getting a 17 PM with apple case, airpods 3 pro, screen / kamera protector and charger for less than just the 18 PM. the 17 msrp got increased from 949 to 1099 euro for the 17 in germany...after being around 850-900

I have no iPhone experience, but this guide opened my mind, thank you for being honest

I’m using the iPhone 16 plus it still works perfectly fine. People upgrade from 17’s and just waste money buying the same phone. There so brainwashed to buy the newest iPhone.

@Chidoro41 3 weeks ago (edited)

Previous year Pro phones are always pulled when the next years model arrives. This is not a new thing.

The prices went up because of the cost of memory and storage.

@Yahlos4326 2 weeks ago

I’d recommend the air before the 17 for longevity and for similar price. It’s now down to a reasonable price and most of them on the refurbished market haven’t been used for more than 50 cycles so the batteries are often at 100% capacity
