Thank you . I tried everything just like you did. I was just about going to buy new rims and I came across your video. Thank you for saving me hundreds of dollars.
Have a 1986 Honda 250r trx with the original oem tires on all 4, Iv had new tires for the machine for over a year and had yet to put them on because I couldn’t get the old ones off and yes the old tires where junk and I was 1 step away from buying a set of new rims for it until about 10 minutes ago I broke the last band on one of the rear wheels and my eyes lit up in shock so I’m going to try it in the other three and then I should be good to go. Thank you so much for this video.
Soak them with simple green then drive over the rub as close as you can with a one ton truck front tire. There’s another video online. I started doing one this way on a Honda rancher and did the other three the drive on method worked wonders
Well done -- THANKS! Works (of course) on incredibly stuck 22 year old trailer tires on 15 inch rims -- had already wasted a couple hours of frustration (and amazement), then saw your far better and faster technique.
All you need is a 3.5' long board maybe 2 stacked onto of each other and drive up onto the edge of the tire with your truck. Get a garden hose and hit it with water and dish soap each time your on it then do that like 5 or six times rotating the wheel a little each time you pull up and it will drop off the bead at some point. I've never had a tire that doesn't come off this way. you just have to be patient and rotate it a little each time with water and soap. It will come off unless you give up. A stubborn tire will take about 20 minutes of driving up onto multiple times. When your done your tire is still good too. They go on easy just not the other way around sometimes. Don't cut tires. Also do this with your valve stem removed
Thanks, I had to do this to my 2000 polaris 500. This was the only way I could get the tires off. The tools i used were the Sawzall, utility knife, flat head screwdriver and a hammer. Thanks again 👍🏾
I have a 1985 suzuki quadrunner 250 with all original tires. I was trying all kinds of tricks to get them off and I think this might do it thank you for sharing.
