Dad saves Tristan; Tristan throws himself in front of dad; Then Albert saves them both. Powerful display of love.

Respect for Alfred, my boy arrived looking as sharp as a business owner, yet he handled that rifle with surgical precision.

This was one of three Brad Pitt movies I took my mom to see at the theater before she passed away. She fell in love with Brad Pitt and Aidan Quinn 🥰 she didn’t care for Interview with a Vampire, but she really loved Legends of the Fall. Whenever I see a clip, I remember her face. We both cried at this scene and I rummaged through my tote for tissues. I teared up just now. Rest well mom 🥰

Legends of the Fall - one of the greatest movie stories ever created. Simply timeless.

The man in the final scene, wrestling the bear is Doug Suess, with his bear "Bart the Bear" that he trained from a cub. Bart was in that movie, along with many others. My dad sold him the property where he lived (Heber City Utah) and trained Bart. Our families became friends, and I grew up playing around Bart and several other animals that he trained, in the back yard behind the house. We used to take Bart to the local Dairy Queen in the horse trailer, to go get him ice cream. Great memories!

The scene when Alfred shoots and redeems himself in the eyes of his father is my favorite part.

The hug from the father. Son and father reunited, all wrongs are forgiven and nothing else matters. God bless

"He was a rock that they broke themselves against." Man that is just such a hard line, and really sums up the story so well.

When estranged brothers reconcile there is nothing like it. My brother and I did not speak for years and finally did.

Legend of fall
Never can be repeated

The last two to six minutes of the film was just mesmerizing. Tristan outlived everyone to die by a bear fight.
