Josey Wales discussing life and death with Ten Bears is the best western scene.

BEST WESTERN OF ALL TIME THE GREAT CLINT EASTWOOD NO ONE COMES CLOSE HE DOSENT EVEN SPEAK A WORD GOD BLESS CLINT EASTWOOD

The closing shootout in “Unforgiven” to me is the best shootout scene in western history…

That gatling gun would of mowed down every single one of those horsemen chasing the wagon at that range 😂😂😂

Not even close. Shane gunfight might be the best but there are so many.

Want to stop a stage, shoot one horse.

Once upon a time in the West you guys must be pretty young. Go watch the best western ever the opening scene will stay with you forever. Oh here's an epic line.  You brought two too many.

If you think this is the best western scene of all times then this must be the only western you’ve ever watched. Just a couple lines outta the blue that already surpass this entire scene: “I’m your huckleberry.”  “Fill your hands you son of a b*tch!” “You gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?” “There’s nothin’ like a nice piece of hickory.”

The GOOD the BAD and the UGLY , has the best western showdown EVER.

Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid from '69 has always been one of my faves.

Ben Foster was great in this flick. Always appreciated his acting.

It seems all the horses were bulletproof. There were some damn good horses in those good old days. Bulletproof, cattleproof, crashproof etc.

No it’s the opening 10 minutes of Once Upon a Time in the West. Not a word spoken for 10 minutes but you are glued to the screen.

"When u have to shoot then shoot don't talk" is the best scene by tooko in the Good the bad the ugly

@5:30 poor old Peter Fonda couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag... this is the best acting job of his entire career! 👏

Charlie Prince is one of the coolest cowboys ever

I friggin love Christian Bale, that guy knocks it out of the park all of the time.

Certainly, one of the best casted Westerns of all time. A great flick!

The entire opening, including the sounds, extreme close ups, in the beginning of "Once Upon a Time in the West". A film on many top 100 ever lists. Leone's panorama of Monument Valley, recalling Ford, in "The Searchers",is infinitely moving, while not advancing the narrative at all. Beauty for its own sake. And the last scene of "The Searchers". #12 on the AFI list. John Ford began shooting westerns in the 20s, the very beginning of the genre, &when Ethan Edwards grips his elbow echoing Harry Carey Sr. a 20s cowboy,John Wayne honors cowboys, westerns, Carey, &movies as art. When that door closes we feel the entire arc of western filmmaking. Andrew Sarris says in "The American Cinema"about Ford, to paraphrase"his pictures take place on the horizon line of history"and"he made pictures that moved, and were moving."

It is an incredible movie.  Only one I watched twice in the same 48 hour period.
