-‘people don’t make music like this’ is the single best description of Leprous I have ever heard! 👌

watch Leprous - Sky is Red (Drum Playthrough).. even if you dont react to it, its such a hypnotic song and seeing it from the drummers perspective fucking rules

"I love everything about Leprous." Same.

I get goosebumps every single time I hear him hit those ridiculously high falsetto notes in their songs

Love your reaction video, man..it's nice to see you show your emotion while listening and at the same time giving technical notes...keep it up..

Glad to see another man discovering Leprous and crying his eyes out😂. Stumbled upon them through the drummer but holy hell what a vocalist and band.

Saw them live, and “Castaway Angels” was just magical. I’ve never experienced a concert venue with ~800 people this quiet before. At the beginning, you could literally hear a needle drop on the other side of the room. After the song, the applause was even louder. Einar even complimented the crowd on how respectfully quiet everyone was.

In 2023 I went to Stockholm because FINALLY I was going to see one of my absolute favourite bands, Kalandra. They were only an opening act, but I had wanted to see them live for several years. Didn't really care about the other bands, but my wife, who allways go all in on new stuff, had listened to alot of Leprous songs and said I was in for a treat. I hounestly was like "-Yeah, sure, what ever..." but I must admit, it was one of the most amazing live experiences I have had in my life. The music, the energy, the quality and talent... I can't wait to see them live again!

So pleased you found Leprous, everything they've done is brilliant. One of my favourite 21st century bands

You should check out VOLA if you haven't already, they're another incredibly unique prog band

Where have I been not noticing Leprous until now!? Absolute talent, beauty and power in the same package!

Dude, you reacted the same way i did when i saw the Castaway Angels video. Im an extreme metal guy 100%. My first time hearing Leprous was Slave live. I went down the rabbit hole instantly. I saw this video (castaway angels) and My GF came into the room and i was literally sobbing from this song. Its powerful what music can do to the soul. Literally 2 months after i was able to see them in a small club with about 100 other people in Syracuse NY. Beyond incredible experience and top 5 concert ive ever been apart of. Some of the heaviest sounds ive ever heard from a l8ve band where at that show. Astounding! Fan for life.

One of the things about Leprous that blows me away every time is that they just don’t sound like anything or anyone else. If you want to see and hear more, listen to the studio version of Forced Entry, watch any of the drummer’s live playthroughs, and definitely check out the video of their Take On Me cover!!

Since I discovered them, around Easter last year, I listen to them a lot. Legitimately my favourite band, my son also loves them as well. Looking forward to them hopefully coming to Australia soon

Leprous has to be one of the most talented bands out there currently. I've been following what they come up with for over a decade now and seen them live many times at this point, just ridiculously good players, they come up with some seriously interesting things. They have fun ways to mess with you with the weirdest rhythmic things.

Yeah! I was so sure that you will love the sound of Leprous, especially Einar's voice, as much as me and that you can give me more nuances about what it is that touches my soul, when I listen to them❣
It needed a lot of patience on my side until you finally took my request from September into consideration. I never would have thought that you would ring in the new year with this, so to speak. But here we are 😅

Leprous is honestly an extremely precious and incredible band, they're essentially ethereal. The talent is profound, each member brings so much energy and life to their performances and passion. They have saved lives too, mine included. Einar's voice is a gift from heaven. He sings and helps so many people feel less alone in their struggles, he helps us feel known, heard and loved. That's the power of music. He is 'the familiar voice' - ('Entropy' by Voyager reference, check it out).

I saw Leprous the first time live after only knowing two or three of their songs, and not that well. One song in and I (along with the rest of the front row) were crying our eyes out. Insane band live, just perfect.

"Passing" had this reaction for me, much due to the lyrics but very much for the intensity in the emotion on the track... it sold me from the start on them & i've been following them closely since... Always fun to see some love to my favourite band!
