4 Hands, 2 Sonatas: An Honest Review 🎹 #fourhandstwosonatas #bromance #songkang #leejunyoung #kdrama

Got it so beautiful drama without sexual content without romantic drama they hold their audience so emotionally and amazingly good job all of you.

Thank you so much for this very accurate and moving review:)))
Very close to my own perception.
❤

I'm leaning more towards a relationship that evolves more into something romantic or greater than that. No ordinary friends looks at each others lips like that. They also said everything in the show was intentional so I guess that was what the director / writer was leaning towards as well :V

We need special ep.. Plz

Hiii! Thanks for sharing. I totally agree with you about the rushed ending. It was really hard to digest the sudden shift in the grandpa and mother's attitudes. I wish we got to see more of Choi Jeong-yo's storyline after his injury. They definitely didn't leave enough screen time to explore the dynamic between Pi-o and Jeong-yo. I mean, they show it, but dont allow it to go deeper. I would have added more scenes showing Pi-o actually becoming aware of Jeong-yo's physical pain from the injury. But honestly, maybe the writer and director kept it subtle on purpose to avoid any social backlash or pushback for the actors.

Great, perceptive review.  I’m a BL fan but am quite okay with this ambiguous ending.  The abiding connection between them is clear, especially by the ending. I agree with your critiques, though, while appreciating this compelling series, especially the acting.

Don't watch this series if u can't hold back tears

Love the review bro

tks for sharing your great opinions with us

I am a big fan of this drama and love your review.  I am not going to write a 3-page essay to it but just want to bring up one issue-the ambiguous relationship. In the finale of series, they reunited at church in Czech.  Pi-O was walking down the aisle slowly and Jeong Yo was turning back and smiling.  Why did the director choose church, aisle, choir, Czech...these ideas?   What did these scenes tell us?  Catholics celebrate the spiritual dimension of baptism, wedding and funeral at church.  I feel sorry that two leads even never showed any affectionate hugs or conversations during the entire series.  That's why the scores show 7.9 in iQIYI and 7.1 in Douban.
