He did better than any other Green ever did there

Well done to the Greens for coming a close second to a secure Labour seat ! We have been Labour here for decades

Polanski got 33% and Labour 45%.  A shrinking gap despite Burnham'a 'honey moon'

Zach has absolutely no reason to resign. It's just zyo rage at his honesty.

Zacl's a great leader and Green's are doing very well because people need an alternative.

"We are the only people in history who get to watch our own genocide then have to watch what we say in case we hurt the feelings of those who perpetrated it".
Speak out!  Support the Greens!

Too many people believe Andy Burnham will bring Labour Left - he won't. They keep thinking Voting Labour will prevent Reform - It won't because Labour is part of the the same establishment as the Tories, lib dems and reform which will erode living standards and give us reform. unless we  adopt radical social democratic policies at the very least.

Both Zack Polanski and the Greens have done very well, he shouldn’t resign.

Objectively looking at the data Zack and the Greens did very well.
Lots of positives to be taken from that performance into future challenges

Zack keep going we need some honesty and integrity in this world

The fact that someone like Dan Hodges still has a place in polite society let alone in the media shows the double-standards applied to Palestinian lives

Farage stood for parliament seven times (I think) before he finally won. Of course Zack shouldn’t resign.

Zack Polanski has achieved so much in just over a year. This is just the beginning. Join the Green Party and get involved. 💚💚💚

Of course Zac should stay .

It's bizarre to me that people don't see Labour are literally copying Zack's homework. The winner talked about bringing back hope in her speech for God's sake

Don’t ever resign Zack. We need you. I’m sick to death of austerity and bloody bond markets. The Bank of England wants stringing up for the way it’s treated the British Citizens of this country. Burnham WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to change any of that. He is just a bloody puppet.

Greens for common sense and pro humanity.

We need you Zach! DO NOT RESIGN!

2024 General Election turnout = 54.1%

1st - Labour - 18,884 votes
2nd - Independent - 7312 votes
3rd - Green - 4030 votes

2026 By-Election turnout = 39%

1st - Labour - 12,292 votes
2nd - Green - 8928 votes

A roughly 28% decrease in turnout, Labour lost 6592 votes and Greens gained 4898. With numbers like that I don't think the Greens really have much to worry about. Again Burnham is in the honeymoon period and while taking some massive strides when compared with Starmer the result is in no way a reason to oust Zack just yet.
