Must show this to my students so they know it’s not just me trying to make their lives miserable.

My esteemed piano teacher taught me that you play the piano with your mind. At 13yo I hadn’t quite perfected my head-banging technique!

No wonder my playing sounds so "amateurish."  Keep these tips coming especially how to play arpeggios smoothly and quickly.

I played guitar for 20 odd years.  There is so much more to remember when learning and playing piano compared to the guitar. I've played the guitar lying on my back and even upside down.

1:20 And please never forget the slippers, especially during the concert on stage.

Thank you for this video.  I will definitely share this with piano players.  :)

Always entertaining Annique! Good luck on your upcoming performance. All 4 Ballades sounds like heaven. The greatest 4 piece set of music ever written for the piano.

Ohh wow, very good video and very useful. Thanks! ❤😊

Wonderful! Informative, engaging, charming and entertaining. Thank you!

Yes!  Pedal section has helped me a lot with Chopin’s nocturne. I am going to practice this a million times right away!

That black strap and the terrifying sound it makes (0:06), makes me curious about how rules are enforced at your private lessons. A very an inspiring narrative.

nice microphone holder btw...hahahahahaha

1:58 Daniil Trifonov and Boris Giltburg take notes!

This might be the most helpful piano video I've ever seen!

I play by ear, the very best way to play. 😄

When I pedal I think of the note as almost a grace note, in the sense it precedes the pedal, sorta like a flam.

2:20 What a funny screwdriver microphone indeed!

Awesome ! !

I have just started with piano. . . I find playing scales with both hands very hard. Thank you for your tip videos they help a lot  ! !

I love the microphone jajajaj
