For me, when I realized how nice Lambert was, I immediately thought "That is a man who got this position because he doesn't understand how bad things really are"
Sheriff Freeman gives major main character energy, the man can one shot you with that shotgun meaning he doesn't take any shit even from the main character
First strawberry sheriff was slandered. Here are some points are raise in his honour: 1. He stood up to arthur, and took no shit from him arguably a very intimidating looking man 2. He was going to hang micah ..need i say more?
6:12 the great thing about the corruption of Saint Denis is it’s that type of corruption that still has the good of society at heart in a way. They want the city to be thriving and successful. Like the mayor is using his corruption to have museums and libraries built, not to just horde all the money.
For some reason, Sheriff Freeman to me it feels like they wanted to get Keith David to voice him. Anyway, I love every single interaction we get with him in the story and the additional parts he gets in Online. He's so cool.
I think it's really sad that Marshal Leigh Johnson wasn't in RDR2. He was such a badass, duel welding revolvers, sarcastic, disillusioned, and despite being a lawman, was always in my mind one of the last great gunslingers. He wasn't a young man, but he survived none the less, not by being a coward, or by allowing criminals to run rampant. He was just good at his job. Not a job he necessarily liked or had intended to do, but one he understands needs to be done. One that he does in whag he thinks is an effective manner, not bowing to public opinion, chasing gangs like a bounty hunter rather than waiting for crimes to be committed.
And unlike Palmer, he was completely unwavering. While not actually canon, his only appearance in Undead Nightmare is the same. The same dry sarcastic wit, sat behind his desk fully intent on upholding peace and order in Armadillo, regardless of the undead hordes
Freeman, being a Black sherif in freaking 1898, shows you what a badass he was. Despite racism being a social norm at that time, he still manages to be the top dog of his town through sheer competence
one thing i dislike abt gray is we never see him outside of story missions. And IK its so we dont do some bullshit method to kill him before the final missions in chapter 3, but you cant even use GUNS in Rhodes during chapter 3 anyways so why not just see him around with archibald trying his hardest to upkeep the law?
