Such a powerful performance. Babymetal and BMTH actually met backstage at an event back in 2015 and have been good and supportive friends ever since. In a really gracious homage to Babymetal I saw a clip of video. In it Oli said that BMTH would never perform "Kingslayer" live again unless Babymetal were there as part of the performance.

Su-metal doesn't scream, she's all clean vocals. Momometal however...

Great reaction, love this song. Especially the epic headbanging at the end.

"I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a dance song..."

BABYMETAL: "EVERYTHING is a dance song!" 😁

The backing ladies sing harmonies and backing in most songs, not this one.  We never join in with su-metal unless she asks, but we are meant to join in with the backing singers, they lead the audience with stuff .
Moa and Momo do front vocals on their birthday, particularly headbanger.  Momo-banger at legend-mm is something special and why we call her momozilla.
There are 4 early songs no longer done where the backing singers sing their own songs, really heavy metal.  This was actually done when they were super young so su-metal could rest in a concert, and likewise the backing girls could rest while su-metal sang solo songs.

It is a dance song if BabyMetal is involved, just not a normal dance song.

Subscribed. An awesome collaboration and performance. One of my favorites. Nice reaction sir.     🖖❤
BABYMETAL - Monochrome Live at PIA Arena (Subtitled) [HQ]

You can find growls in Song 3 as Momo goes off and Alex brings his demon vocals into a collab. Also Headbanger 15th Night Ver. a redo they did for their 15th Year Anniversary which features great growls by Momometal.
I'd hardly call Babymetals parts backing vocals... they have been friends and met years before they decided to do a collab together.  Seemed to me they sang in about half the song... they have done this song a few times live together now on stage since.

I believe you will enjoy this to get a bit of MOMOZILLA:      BABYMETAL x Slaughter To Prevail - Song 3 (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)   🖖❤

Nice! This song is awesome, and BMTH & Babymetal have been friends since 2015.

I hope you do more Babymetal!! They are absolutely amazing live.

—> Road of Resistance (Official Live): A Jan 2015 show. Epic anthem, and Babymetal’s staple show closer for the last 11 years!

🤘🦊🤘🦊

2:29  "I don't think it's gonna be a dance song".   Babymetal says, 'You wanna bet!?'   😅   I never thought I would ever want to see dancing in metal but Babymetal changed my mind. Well, I still don't care to see it unless it's Babymetal doing it.

" Ohhhhh Yeaaaaaa ! "

Don't think they will  be any Dancing , Think again 😂 Without Oli and Su's vocals this song would not be the song it is .  so BabyMetal definitely not backing vocals 😁
🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Should watch headbanger where Moa (Moa banger) and Momo(Momo Banger) take the lead

GJ  @Budokan is another one where its just Moa as the song is from Black Babymetal Which used to be her and Yui

🔥🦊🔥

Good reaction - but every song is a dance song when BABYMETAL get involved, no matter how hard or heavy it might be, whether it is industrial, prog, thrash, power, speed, black, death or whatever other metal, they'll have choreo for it.🦊🤘

Backing vocals?😕  Sounded to me like Su-metal took lead vocals for half or more of the song.  Yes, Moametal and Momometal do sing - and they do provide backing vocals and harmonies on most of the BABYMETAL songs.

No Su-metal doesn't scream or growl, thankfully - you will only get beautiful, clear, clean vocals from Su and that is exactly as it should be.
Momometal, on the other hand, has discovered she has another talent beyond dancing, singing and smiling etc and she has been adding some growls into some of the more recent songs (most notably 'Song 3', 'Headbanger 15th Night Version' and others).

It was expected that the would come on Stage, they just returned from the US and their plane to Europe for their Headliner Show in November was already booked.

This Son̈g had a relatively unique Background. Both Bands were Friends for Years and wanted tondo a Song together. They knew each other since 2015 and then came Corona. But BMHT published this Song and without any hope of Live Concert in the near Future this Song, especially Su's Angellike Vocals became a Dream Target, so when they returned in 2023 to the European Festoval Season in 2024 all wanted to have them as a Headliner. So while they worried if anyone still remembered them, the reality was like a dream.

No, Jordan Fish knew Su, he used on disc electronic Effects, but this is her Full Power Voice, rdAdy to push anyone and anything. She has Power. In fact itvwas a mini Festival with 4 dates and the first time Su overpaced and had to fight for Breath. Moa had to rewrite their Choreo.

Nice reaction to what is one of my least favourite Babymetal songs (I am in the minority, and I'm sorry, it's because of BMTH. BMTH are almost the epitome of what put me off metal around the turn of the century- yes, I'm old...lol.)
"I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a dance song"
Babymetal: "Hold my chocolate"
If you like growls, I suspect Song 3 would be right up your alley. Momozilla is unleashed, and Alex Terrible is amazing. (That's growls done properly.)
For Mosh pits, Road of Resistance Live in Japan, when Babymetal were just girls aged 15, 15, and 17. A masterclass in crowd control.
