As an athlete and coach this is NOT a win, this is is poor sportsmanship and selfishness. She should have been pulled immediately

She shouldn't be embarrassed of her bodily functions, she should be embarrassed of her lack of critical thinking skills.

As a past HYROX competitor, I don't think dodging excrement should be an added obstacle 🤢

I can’t wrap my head around how HYROX didn’t immediately handle this as the biohazard it is! All of the other athletes were put at risk of numerous pathogens and disease-carrying contaminates.

If any of the other athletes turn out to be sick after this like really sick, they should absolutely sue the company and the athlete that decided to shit all over everything

When did common sense stop?  If you are covering equipment and the floor of an indoor arena in 💩 you shouldn't continue with the event, even if you want to win!

She shouldn’t feel bad that her body malfunctioned. She should feel bad she’s selfish, unsportsmanlike and rude as hell.

They should consider the event null and void, disqualify her from competing again and let everybody else do the competition over again except her. It clearly affected people competing around her.

She should have been disqualified.  My friend who is into Hyrox is furious about this.  She said Hyrox should have pulled her off and shut the event down until they cleaned it up. She said it's really expensive to compete, and it's not fair on the people behind her.

Not to mention the poor people who had to try and clean literal human shit off EVERYTHING.

That is absolutely disgusting. She smeared her crap all over the machines and mats. Of course she won. No one else could touch the equipment. They made such a huge mistake by not telling her to quit and leave.

As a nursing student I couldn’t believe they let her continue. What if she had a communicable disease she hadn’t disclosed (Hep A or E etc)? Can you imagine the OUTBREAK this would have caused? Not to mention the mess itself. The lady said “a win is a win”, but if I had to shit myself in front of millions of people to do it? Nope, I’d rather try again next year. AND she was the previous champion- there should’ve been some professionalism expected from her.

She should be disqualified. Incredibly selfish.

This isn't to be applauded. She presented a biohazard to the other contestants, the staff, and spectators and then made sure to spread it everywhere. That's not determination -- that's willful sabotage of opponents and complete disregard for everyone else's safety.

She did that with malicious intent, she knew it would shave off the competition. I can't believe there's people actually praising her for shitting herself like a toddler.

Why is anyone praising her? She’s insane for continuing
