At 34:20 he says that the NSA discovered that the courier not only turned the phone off, but also took the battery out. How did they know that he took the battery out? Did the phone communicated when it was turned off? Back then there were no smartphones.

Yet another great talk from International Spy Museum, these talks are very interesting always. Great invited speakers telling about history, and when the papers are released in the future it will be very interesting to see how true they are.

You desperately need a live audio engineer for you events with the ability to operate a graphic equalizer. The constant ~420hz and 900hz resonance in the mic makes this very difficult to listen to.

I myself was INSTRUMENTAL in hunting down many terrorists and serial killers.

Haven't seen his follow up video showing all the things he was wrong about to hold up that integrity reporting he claims.

Bloody fascinating. Interesting channel, too. Came here for the Robert Hanssen story.
PS Curious why he'd mention that the analyst was female - it's the 21st century.

Haha, I'm not sure my father being a big Nazi would be something I'd boast about, exactly! More like, "my dad?! Oh he doesn't do much, he's uh, retired, yes, retired early. From what job? Um, weeell, um, he, waas a, a tax collector, yep, that's it!"
