Allowing 3 questions at a time, without giving an immediate answer for each, is absurd.

Love him or hate him this was a disgusting act against a leader of the sovereign nation of Iraq who had done nothing wrong but be accused of WMD

Overthrowing Saddam and kadafi were terrible for the region. Unfortunately bad people are needed to keep even worse people in line. It takes a wolf to catch a wolf

This is a fascinating interview.

Things aren’t always so black and white. Yes, he did many bad things that I don’t agree with but in his mind they were necessary to govern the country. He was a complex individual for sure.

This is a great interview but why ask 2 or 3 questions and then answer, stupid, ask 1 question and then answer

It is all about oil and money...poor iraqi and afghan people have to pay for these people's greed with their blood

The idea Saddam thought 9/11 would bring the two nations closer is completely logical and sad to think about the real aftermath. The Bush administration didn't want peace or understanding they wanted oil and to villianize Saddam and get revenge on him bush and his circle made 9/11 about themselves totally disrespecting the victims and the victims to come Iraqi and american in the Iraq war.

Where did you get that “tribal marks” thing?
A) Iraqis don’t have that tradition, there is no such thing. Iraqi tribes don’t have marks or signs.
B) Saddam has no tribe to begin with. He identified himself (sometimes), with “Altikriti “meaning from Tiktit. Cause he had no tribe.

Btw, I am an Iraqi citizen and my father was like his father, a head of tribe.and he never had a sign or a tattoo

He says "mistakes were made". Own it dude. "We messed up" is more honest. What was missing is to speak honestly and directly, thought respectfully to the Prez your thoughts and not fear him like he was a God. He is not a deity. He serves the American people, not the other way around. What was missing from the Prez was a simple "let's get together these leaders and make a deal". Sound familiar?
