One thing this movie taught me never ever build your whole life around your husband or your children if you do that you will be setting yourself up for disappointment!!!!

This is a serious movie that speaks of many families who have gone through these complicated experiences. I recommend watching it.

The real pain of a wife and mother is that no one ever notices when she is not ok. All the kids thought of is what they want but never noticed the sadness in her eyes. Selfish humans.

The wife didn't waste twenty years. She "lived" twenty years. Now it's about carrying the lessons learned and moving on. Life goes on.

If I find my mom sitting in the kitchen in the dark I’d ask what’s wrong 🤦‍♀️

It is more common than many spouses are aware of. A “macho” husband is not a guarantee that he is straight.

In real life, most situations like this never get resolved.  The problem isn't sexual preference, it is the DECEPTION and BETRAYAL.

Thank goodness she had a friend that stood with her ❤

I was crying some of the part of this movie scene,  the mom has a lot of things to do and be a part again to make the family whole at the end . True love will willing to understand even its really Hurts and top . But what matters is , the love and respect for each other as family will stay .

Its hard when your source of comfort is your greatest pain

Jean Smart is acting the part so well. I want to cry when she cries. What a heartbreaking movie.

This is an important social issue that many people find themselves in. Uncomfortable subject, brave of them to tackle it.

I feel so bad for this lady. She didn’t deserve this. He broke his wife heart. Sad she had to find out like this.

This movie is amazing and brilliant because it shows that, above any prejudice, true empathy is a reflection of good character. The film proves that overcoming judgment and truly putting yourself in someone else's shoes requires maturity. In the end, it’s a beautiful lesson in dignity: it shows how it's possible to evolve and be fine, trading the role of the victim for the protagonist of your own life

A moving film wrapped in humanity with many teachable moments.  An excellent cast beautifully depicts the test of unconditional love, acceptance, and forgiveness.  Jean Smart  and John Terry are exceptional in their roles.  And every family confronting this situation needs a Gail Stern (played by Gretchen Corbett) in their lives. These stories are real, and the outcomes of these challenging situations vary depending on the ability of those involved to move forward and on the sensitive support they receive. The title, “Change of Heart” says it all.

This is such a a great movie! So many lessons learnt from watching. It is many of us reality. Wife suffering with husband choices and husband going through a lot as well with guilt and disappointing the people who love him the most.

First time ever seeing divorce stuff being so maturedly discussed.😢❤😢❤

Her speech to the board of directors was awesome!!!!

A great movie, superb acting by all the cast! The story line deals with a situation that affects all the family and how they overcame it. Finding out your your husband or wife is gay is not easy to accept, but this movie showed how the family were able to move on. Excellent, thank you!

"I wont sleep with him while we are working this out". Bawahahahahaha
