"Hi my dear friend! I’m writing to you from Italy, and I’m currently studying to become a dog trainer. You know, I’m learning more from you than from my course! You’re truly amazing with dogs, a real expert! And now, with the videos dubbed in Italian, learning from you is even more enjoyable."

I tried the slip loose lead bubble walk with our 6 month old red lab.
The day before she was pulling like nut job.
Today, up and down Up and down getting a little closer bit by bit to her wish , the park
Did this for about 20 minutes .
I gave no treats just the reward of the park
We finally stopped at the edge of the park
Sat, looked looked up at me and waited …gorgeous girl go
enjoy.
On the way back, no pulling at all which was a first
IT WORKED
thank you so much

I have a highly reactive dog. Obedience without distraction is spot on. Her reactivity is down about 80 percent but his dog reactivity on walks is still there. This is so very helpful. ❤

I can share an Obedience training experience with a 4 month old dobe. He had finished Kindergarten puppy and was progressing through Basic with a team of older dogs sharing the same class One day, his foot went through the back of an upturned armchair in the garage, and was pretty much trapped in the frame. He was panicked, and stood a real chance of tearing a dewclaws or worse. My neighbors came to help since the dog needed to be restrained whilst we worked to free the paw. It was at this realisation I hit upon the learned Obedience and gave my pup the Stay command with vocal and hand signal. It worked. We freed his paw, and after that when I gave a Sit command he was so brilliant, I swear he snapped into a Sit while his ass was still off the ground a wee bit ..

you're the best trainer I have come across in a long time. One thing I picked up from watching you that you don't even mention, is building the bond with my dog. I tend to get too serious, and spend a lot of time being stress and upset that my dogs don't mind me. Which is a mind frame that works against me.

Thank you for this! I was making the 'hand in pocket' mistake when teaching my dog the "stay" command and was having the issue of him popping up ahead of time. Will correct it! 😊❤

I love how balanced an approach this is. The activation level response with corrections makes so much sense. There are a lot of parallels to this and human exposure conditioning (for phobias, etc). It’s fascinating. Love your content!

Really great tools. Honestly, the most honest, real life advice. Thank you!!

Kobe looks to be a Maligator, so no surprise it didn't take him long to figure out where the "jackpot" was. Definitely need to watch those fingers, lol. Such a good boy. I'd never thought about spreading out the "jackpot" though. Thank you for all the info!

By far one of the best trainers out there right now. I’m balanced trainer based in Jersey and I love the content. Keep the good work up 👍

Learned heaps from this clip! Thank you 😊. Please keep posting!!!

Totally agree! Especially the last portion of the video. My cattle dog is okay on leash but off-leash, she is the most chillest pupper ever. Took months of conditioning recall but now she has the freedom to investigate as she’s naturally weary of things.
