"These guys are here for 12 summers..." go outside and work your dog! love this video. Thank you

It's amazing that caring for a dog—"don't watch TikTok, go to bed earlier, wake up earlier, and take your dog for a walk in nature"—is incredibly beneficial for human health!
Healthy sleep is important for health.
Avoiding TikTok and similar short-form content is important for health.
Walking in nature is important for health.
Make your dog happy and get healthier yourself at the same time. Great!

They don't want a peanut butter stuffed kong, 👀👀 me giving my dog a peanut butter stuffed kong so I can watch this video in peace 😂😂

Got a lurcher as my first dog in January and work full time from home. Honestly all this stuff has worked fantastic do 2hrs in total walking implementing fetch with obedience and tug work, 1hr in the morning and an 1hr after work. Snuffling for food after and just generally letting him have a good off lead run around and sniff to be a dog. That with some at home enrichment letting him destroy some towels tied in knots he will genuinely sleep for 20hrs + a day and I don't even have to enforce it with a crate. 2hrs a day is so little realistically and if you don't want to spend that time with your dog each day I question why you got one in the first place, those 2hrs are the best 2hrs of the day generally.

That's awesome that you're donating the YT money. You really deserve many more subs. Your content is so helpful.
"These guys are here for 12 summers." Wow, fuck man, that hit me hard.

I accidently got a Malinois cross out of a spanish shelter- i thought it was a Podenco-mix, i love that breed😂. I have a job, but not a usual full time. After work i go training and playing a bit with the dog, then we go horseriding about two hours (endurance). My Mal mix is a great great driving dog, she brings the horses from pasture, pulls a small cart with hay, is watching over the chicken, and so on. When she's alone, she sleeps. Best dog ever❤. I love Mals now😂

I work full time and have had Belgians and Pyr Sheps.  I don't watch TV.  I go hiking an hour to two a day on top of working.  And do training and mind exercises with them.  Lots of hiding things in the house and making them find it.  It's exhausting but it's good for them

I do not have high energy dog and I still wake up at 6 in the morning to tire my dog :D

I love these recommendations. One way I get more bang for my buck during on leash walks is to have my dog jump on and off of things, like benches and retaining walls. It uses different muscles and engages their brain a bit more than just walking.

I could watch you do this all day. Thank you for all your free content, it’s amazingly generous.

I'm retired now, but we used to go to ridiculous lengths so that we could keep high drive dogs and not leave them too long. When we both had to work we worked different shifts. I got up stupidly early to go and do some agility, obedience or whatever. Scenting games are great. Our dogs always seemed contented and lived long lives.

Truly cannot understate how much I have appreciated all these videos. There’s a reason why everyone in the comments are constantly saying that YCA deserves all the subs and likes in the world!! Absolutely brilliant work

Unfortunately, my mother (60 years old), got herself a working line german shepherd, with very little research put into it. It was an impulsive buy for her, as she grew up around GSD's and adopted an adult one many years ago before I was even born. Suffice to say, she really loves the breed. However, she has never owned or trained a GSD from a puppy, and unfortunately she just doesn't have the energy to match that of her GSD. That's where I come in. I go over regularly to make sure her dog is meeting all her requirements, trained, walked, socialized, the whole 9 yards. Today I tried one of your structured exercise sessions and man she's wiped out. She'll have a nap for about 2 hours, get up, wander around, then she'll be back to napping for another 2 to 3 hours. The kicker is when she's awake, she's not trying to dig, chew outdoor furniture, bark at little things, she's quite content.

So thank you for this video it really helps give me back some time. Now Im not over her house practically living there trying to tire this dog out.

I stumbled across your video. I will boast a bit: I’ve got a Jack Russell terrier that just turned three. He’s my third, so I have some experience. I didn’t want him because I knew the time needed for this breed. I kept him because I couldn’t find a suitable home, and now he’s my best little buddy.
I get so frustrated with people who get dogs and expect them to sit inside the house all day and be happy with a little walk around the block.
I never put my dog on a lead unless we go to a public space. He is my shadow and wants nothing but to please me. No, he didn’t come this way. I take him rollerskating, rollerblading, paddle boarding, and swimming. I let him dig holes that almost reached China. This is why he is a good dog; I provide the exercise he needs. Unfortunately, people get these high-energy breeds, and they’re disappointed. The cute little puppy grows into a dog, frequently being neglected, abused, or abandoned.
I’ve never met a bad dog; I’ve only met ignorant, lazy, and sadly some selfish bad owners.
Thank you for putting out this content!!
I wish people would learn about the breed before they get their puppy. The canine breed is unbelievably loyal. Dogs fall in love just as humans do, but they fall in love harder and never stop loving.
Love your content! Keep spreading the word on how to be a good dog owner! The canines of the world need you.❤❤❤

So, can I be your dog in my next life? 😂 I 100% agree. Love being able to work this lifestyle in! What a life.

I only have two days when I have to be physically at work. I bring my Border for at least an hour walk before I go to work, and I have a special toy that he has ONLY when Im not here. It's his favorite toy so he s always happy. Worked really well. Never destroyed a thing in the house, never peed, never barked and I live in an appartment. As soon as Im back we go directly outside for 1 or 2 hours. But when he was a puppy, I taught him to stay alone 5 min, then 10, then 30, then 1 hour, etc, etc. The only hysterical phase I have is when I wake up but that's on me because I can't stop laughing when I see his dumb face throwing toys in the air lmao

You donating the money earned my sub.  Appreciate the content, been helping me with a 5mo old Bernese.

I quit my job 2 months ago for various reasons, but main reason because of exhaustion. It gave me a loooot of time to put into our dog and he''s doing so much better now. Like me. Get up early and take the car to drive to the woods nearby. Twice a day, actually. Later in the afternoon I go to another place and have a round for like an hour with him. He's is/was pretty reactive, but he's doing so much better Now. And I'm learning a lot about myself and taking the lead. Being more strict, but also let him be a dog . And I'd rather take the car than just do an unfulfilling walk around the block.

this looks like dog heaven
