I've been told by an American that Spanish is not an European language 😂

Even if meat and milk were rare in Europe, we do have plenty of eggs for an affordable price. :P

Canadian here the US tried to invade us in 1812 and failed miserably....

I love the joke, american beer is like making love in a canoe, it's f&^king close to water.

The people not being able to name 3 cities in Ireland is exactly why so many Europeans consider this whole "I'm actually [insert random nationality]" when you were born and raised in America ridiculous. They just say this stuff to make themselves feel special. If they actually cared so much about their so-called heritage they would make an effort to engage with it, like learn the language, learn about the country, learn about the actual traditions, not just put on a flag and claim membership of a nation they know nothing about.

It's so weird how so many americans are passionately 'Irish' yet have never set foot on the island, don't know any history, can't name any cities or historical people.

You assume pizza is to be shared instead of an actual dish. That's the whole problem. In France, when you order a pizza IN a restaurant, it's a dish, for you and you only. With a knife and fork (because you're in a restaurant).
The only ones that are cut is a takeaway food.
(sorry for the translation)

I'm italian and honestly here everybody cut their own pizza by themselfes.. i was at a resturant and a guy asks to the waiter:" excuse me, why its not already cut?" And the waiter answered* : " well you have to ask before if you want it already cut, however you are a grown man, dont your parents teach you how to use fork and knife?"

EDIT: i forgot to mention that in italy we cut it by ourselfes and we eat it with our hands folding the slice (and i corrected a typo from respond to answered* sorry english is my 2nd language)

"Are you Irish?"
"Yes, I'm ir.."

"NO, YOU'RE NOT! YOU'RE AMERICAN! DEAL WITH IT!"

How is it not possible to understand a 24 hour clock. Good grief

The UK didn't hold elections during WWII. The major parties formed a joint government with one aim, winning.

I think that the Commonwealth may have something to say about defending Canada.

The guy with the pizza is really right. In Europe, you have to cut the pizza yourself AND IT IS NOT PRE-CHEWED!

Australian here. I will never understand the claim Americans make on a distant ancestry while simultaneously being incredibly nationalistic. Murica. Pick a lane guys. Also, we don't do that here and our (colonised) nation is younger.

It was the British that invented trains and railways. If Canada was attacked the British would help. They’re part of the commonwealth.

'take on the world and win'?
You lost to a bunch of peasant farmers in Vietnam

I know there are more important things going on in the world, but why do Americans insist on calling the 24 hour clock which most of the world uses, "military time"? Do they not understand that it's the normal way to count the hours almost everywhere else?

Having watched the American Military in 'action' (Vietnam)..The British SAS would eat them for breakfast. BUT all praise to those courageous American's who gave their lives in WW2

americans "wait, you guys have a constitution as well?"  - amazing !!

The British invented trains, 200 years ago this year.
