i feel like 90% of the time spent writing jojo chapters is just araki browsing obscure wikipedia pages and reading about weird stuff on books

The way he just casually pulls out a chunky 90s camcorder from his pocket like Emporio pulling out a big trashcan from his pants really makes me believe that this guy is a legit stand user.

I love when a JoJo chapter involves some random fact, incident, or pseudoscience Araki learned about and decided to build an entire stand around. Like who tf’s first thought in a life or death situation is “me kill guy by shutting body down with oxygen poisoning because human no breathe 100% pure oxygen hehe.”

And then Jack the Ripper came out of the horse

I miss "rods." When I was a kid in the 90s, Rods were the hot new cryptid...then we got better quality digital video and they just stopped showing up...because the whole time it was just bugs with motion smear from crappy 90s camcorders LOL. Kind of interesting to see the life cycle of a mythological entity accelerated like it was. I don't think anyone believes in rods anymore.

If I recall in the US they were featured on the show "Sightings" on the scifi channel

fun fact) The rods themselves aren’t stand. The Sky High’s ability is manipulating the rods meaning the rods are actual creatures in Jojo universe.

Personally my theory on why jack the eipper disappeared is that a potential victim got the better of jack and killed him in self defense. Then the victim covered it up.

Bigfoot being a guy in a suit is very plausible since a map with bigfoot sightings and fursuit owners almost overlap perfectly

Survivor may suck, but it still manages to blow goddamn Cheap Trick out of the water.

Cheap Trick: The Stand that just. Fucking. Kills you.

you missed the funniest part of the dyatlov incident, that the tent was insanely radioactive

In my opinion, the first reference of the 6 hikers resemble the Khamar-Daban incident more than the Dyatlov Pass incident. In the Khamar-Daban incident, the hikers involved were 'poisoned' by unknown substances and were all losing their minds, some of the hikers even smashed their heads onto rocks until they died. I think this is more representative of the Survivor's stand ability than the Dyatlov Pass incident.

is this layer 5 of the iceberg?

@Zack-pm2tu 1 year ago

I don't know much about JoJo but as a cryptid enjoyer who saw the rods in the thumbnail... Those are absolutely explained. XD

Wait, everything is a JoJo reference ?

Always has been.

23:50 fun, or maybe not so fun, fact: there are still active members of Heaven's Gate today. Two members were left behind to maintain the website and the cult's away basketball team wasn't at the compound at the time and also survived, leaving 15ish members alive after the event. Most went on to lead out the rest of their lives relatively normally, except for the sole remaining member of the cult, who as I understand it, still maintains some form of website or cult archive to this day.

I’m so late to these videos but stone ocean really is the most underrated overlooked part. Easily some of the coolest characters and stands some of the most FIRE plot points.
