Nice scenery but definitely not the best driving road. The fact that you have to keep stopping to let other cars past spoils a pure driving experience. I would enjoy it for the scenery.
Scotland has many roads with great scenery with the added bonus that you can also enjoy the roads for the sheer driving bliss.

Drove over all those lake district passes in 1957 in my 1947 Ford Prefect with no problems whatsoever. In these modern videos I very often see poor driving which results in most peoples problems on these passes. R.Young 86  years old

That MG is older than both of us. I had a 1972 MGB GT with a bright orange paintwork and chrome bumpers. I used to use Auto Glym wax and chrome polish on it.

My current car, recently purchased and driven 2144 trouble free miles to import it into Malta. Not to drive round this tiny island,  but so I can cruise to and from the uk with ease and comfort. Two days driving, well within the speed limits, and half a day waiting for ferries. Of all the stupid cars I've owned (if they do more than 20 mpg I'm probably not interested 😂) as much as they've all given me great pleasure, having had a couple albeit years ago, this is what I've chosen to see me through to the end of my days. The basic spec, less to go wrong 🤞, several niggling issues, a little (averaged 26 to the  gallon cruising down here, but probably only getting 14 here) juicy to run, but such an absolute pleasure to drive. Definitely not the most sensible choice of car but absolutely no regrets. The MacMaster asked this is my choice!!  Ok, I  can't work out how to add a photo.... it's a 1988 W126 500 SEL.

With pdk Porsche 718 spyder for this road, i do prefer roads that you can maintain 60mph and constant cornering. Great views on this road though. I may be tempted to take a ducati hypermotard 698 on this road.😮
Great roads in wales but they have ruined them with 20mph all over the place so dont bother visiting there.

My husband had a red MGA when we started dating. And his had spoke wheels!!  It was lovely to see this one. And my husband is Dutch by birth. We've driven on a pass in the Lakes District but not this one. Just beautiful. 🇭🇲

I always wanted to drive an Alpine pass in a Porsche 911 and I've just returned last week after driving the Furka Pass, Gotthard Pass, Grimsel Pass and San Bernadino pass in Switzerland and the Grosseglockner High Alpine Road in Austria, in my Cupra Formentor Vz3

Dukes Pass from Aberfoyle heading towards Callander best road by far (although not during summer season)
