I was in a cocoon of pain until Daniel released this video

I think this truly shows that we can always find a new angle to talk about our favorite pieces of art, the way you talked about each of the characters reasons for being the way they are helped a lot with that.

It is crazy how much this game stands out. Even all these years later.

Its also worth noting that, if the tablet of the seductress really correlates with Angela and how she feels about herself for being violated, it's very interesting placement to put it in a prison shower. A place where SA happens VERY often.

Silent Hill 2 is a great example of cosmic horror in regards to the power of the town but so few look at the game through that angle, so thanks for being one of the few I’ve seen to analyze that aspect

Glad to have you back Daniel. Hope you are doing well!

I didn't experience Silent Hill 2 until after I went through the remake and fell in love with it almost immediately. Luke Roberts especially did an amazing job at how he voiced James throughout the game. Earlier this year I went through a walk through of the og game(Didn't get to play it myself unfortunately cause fuck is it expensive to get currently) and it's amazing how it still holds up almost 25 years later. Also it can't be stated enough how Akira Yamaoka's amazing musical score complements Silent Hill 2 as well as it does.

Ohhh wow, you talked about Eddie, I've always been weirdly fascinated with him, maybe because I can quite relate to him in some ways, especially back in my past. Someone who always feels societal pressure and judgment from others, and someone who doesn't have that much self respect and self care, always trying to avoid problems and never confronting them. That got a bit too personal, but you get what I mean. Everyone always talks about James, Angela, Mary/Maria, but I really don't think most people give Eddie enough credit for his character and backstory.

Glad to see you back love all your review videos, hopefully YouTube pushes this video more I didn't see you posted until I saw your community note and went to the channel despite being subscribed for years

I know James Sunderland isn't the best person but I can't help but relate and sympathize with him in some ways. I know what it's like to be with people who are moody as well as people who were very ill, I also struggle with a lot of depression and feelings of guilt so in a lot of ways I see myself in James and I think that's what makes him such a wonderfully written character

no words other than thank you for this

0:26 Diddy-O games

Excellent video. I relate to a lot of the points you brought up immediately. Talking about our favorite games is always tricky, and one we want to do justice. As long as there are people playing this game, I think there will be a new perspective birthed from it, or with any game.

Keep up the amazing work!

I thought hbomberguy already exposed the deceptions of this James Sunderland character

Goated vid

I wonder if anyone here will think about "la ñonga de Don Juan, de Don Juan, de Don Juan tiene la ñonga" with that one particular song...

PD.- it's sad that, in general terms at least, we may have better graphics now, but we had better art before.

Hey, I have to say that introduction was disgustingly long, redundant, and provided absolutely nothing of note.
I know you feel like everything must be made with chatGPT introductions like every college essay, but you dont.
You could just begin the video w/out wasting 7 minutes.
