"Drop you like a 'J' in the floor" refers to the second puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The clue was to spell out the name of God, Jehovah, on the floor to pass through the room. However, Indy momentarily forgot that in Latin "Jehovah" starts with an "I". So when he stepped on the "J", the tile dropped and he nearly went through the floor.

I think Indiana had another hard hitting line in his 1st verse with the "Cut to the Chase. Oh wait, he died. Guess you couldn't tap that X in time." It was just put together nicely and had a healthy amount of disrespect to it.

for the collateral damage bar, not only does she destroy every place she goes to, in one of the most recent games, she causes a flood that drowns at the very least, one small city, probably a bit more though. and that's just in one game. yeah, she's caused an insane amount of innocent deaths in her time. adn the only treasure hunter to come close to her level of destruction is Nathan Drake.

The fact he uploaded on erb before scru is suprising on so many levels

Another thing about the Big Bang theory line, is in one episode the plot of Raiders is "ruined" or blown up when a character points out that even if Indy wasn't there, the story plays out the same way

I think this would've been better if it was Nathan Drake vs Lara Croft with a surprise verse from Indianaconda dissing both of them for being derivative

5:22 because, "In Latin, Jehovah is spell with an 'I'." (and Indy stepped on the wrong letter in the third film, and nearly fell to his death.)

The whole "overshadowed" thing isn't about his facial hair. It's about a very specific lighting setup they use on Indiana Jones in his movies, where his hat is casting a shadow over his face, but the way they do it in the film is extremely stylized so that the shadow is much deeper than it would be naturally.

"Does she have that much collateral damage?" Yes, she is catastrophic to any place/ ecosystem she's in

I liked Indy's verse but they did set him up for rebuttal pretty hard with Indianaconda

I think the "girls' polygon wild" is a double entendre, the first being a play one the phrase girls gone wild but the second could be a reference to the polygons going "wild" during development resulting in Lara having larger breasts than the developers had intended.

It's been a while since an ERB has had some truly brutal hard hitting lines but the second half of Lara's second verse toasted Indy's marshmallows so thoroughly that I felt it. BTW Indianaconda

"Very very easy to come back from this though" Because you didn't spend like 2 minutes looking up info about Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider. If you're unfamiliar with the material you'll miss a lot. You missed 2/3 of it. This is one of the strongest battles they've done.

Yeah the first punch was about her being flat chested but it could also be a double because in the reboot game you ran the risk of being flattened by boulders if you failed a QTE event lol

Result: Jones ended up in the shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Bro! That Indianaconda line was pretty crazy. Love the reaction

So in regards to some of the lines, there was a lot of controversy when Square Enix took over and rebooted Tomb Raider because they made her younger and reduced her bust size. Also the reboot did have an online mode. As for the last one the nude code was a rumor spread for the PS 1 games where her model would be nude that the devs ended up later playing into where if you tried it in later games her model exploded.

Lara Croft is no longer part of the Square Enix family since this year. They had a lot to do with the Tomb Raider reboot in 2013.

Good review, Laura won, especially with the Statutory bar. You did miss a few good bars on both. @Scrufacejean did a great review and I mean he is Mansa Musa in the flesh 😂😂

The juxtaposition between Scru’s reaction and Shwab’s is pretty funny. Lol
