The Blue Origin bar was one of the dirtiest punches.   He did an 8 mile reference, brought up the fact that Bezos’ dad ran out on him, twisted the knife further by bringing up the fact that his father left him to be a bike shop owner, then got a double on “rolled out” and then tied it all to Bezos’s space company doubling on it being a sad story.  Incredible writing.

Bezos real name is Jorgenson, he was adopted and that's when his name changed to Bezos.  Reason was his dad basically joined loved the circus more than Jeff and opened up a unicycle shop.

AYO! Shout out to basic human violations fr, mad slept on

This was very exciting to see Scru on ERB, he ain’t no Lex Loser. And he absolutely killed it.

That Lex Loser line got me to laugh a good bit.
Scru was so in his element here that if I didn't know the guy he played, he was just playing as himself.

As a Muslim I really like the references like Ramadan, not wearing gold because he’s a Muslim etc Lex loser got slammed

Ayo, Lex Loser. In Scru's reaction to that ERB (reacting since he hadn't heard more of Bezos' verse than he needed to make reactions to in the battle itself) he said he wrote his own verse after he cleared it with Peter and Lloyd. It definitely shows lmao

From what I understand, unlike previous ERBs, Scru requested that he and Lloyd not know what the other had written until it was time to shoot (and even then he wanted to know the bare minimum required until the product was finished). Lloyd not being used to that may have contributed to the difference you noticed. I'm sure there are other factors as well though.

edit: Lloyd does a rebuttal (made it back in a month) so I'm probably wrong on this. Lloyd (and/or the other writers) definitely knew what Scru wrote so it's unclear what effect Scru's request to not know Lloyd's part had on the production.

I didn't know that Scru wrote the vast majority of his verse but that does make sense given the rhyming pattern on the opening bars sounds like would have come from Scru. I liked most of his stuff and was luke warm on Lex Loser. The funniest thing for me is watching other reactors who had complete opposite thoughts on the battle.

Lex looser! Scru killed it!! And when he explained his bars, my brain blew up! Like the "i have gold bars you can't escape from" meaning bars but also golden bar (money) and prison that he can't escape from

For most who don’t know:
Scru Face Jean is Mansa Munsa. He’s a YouTuber. He’s a freestyle rapper most of the time. But this one he recorded then shot in Cali.
EpicLloyd is Jeff Bazos. He is also a YouTuber.

Scru gave auch a good physical performance with this one
the "Feed me Seymore" moves are hilarious

Literally every Jeff Bezos line went over his head

(Bezos): "I never heard your story".
(Bezos, less than 30 seconds later) Starts to tell a lot of facts about  Musa
Right.

Lex loser got cooked but that Jorgensen bar was something else man

Lex loser: As some people have already said, his biological dad left Jeff up for adoption and started a bike shop, so his last name was originally Jorgenson, plus it doubled as an 8 mile reference! Great performance from Scru and great reaction from you Shwab

TL,DR: Scru comes from a newer generation of nerdcore

I think the reason why Scru folded him was because he is simply put “built differently” if you think about it, ERB is technically nerdcore just like you, DPS, Rustage, but you and ERB are completely different in terms of the music it’s kind of like a generational type of difference where ERB is gen 1 and ya’ll are gen 2, and scru is in that generation and he spends a lot of time reacting and absorbing that content so he ended up picking up a lot of skills from that so by the time he got into ERB he was a completely different level than his competition

ERB approached Scru Face Jean specifically to be in this episode to which Scru Face Jean said yes

The writing was collaborative between Peter, Lloyd, Zach and a few others (such as suggestions from their patreon discord). Scru was involved in the Mansa Musa verses but asked to not know about the Jeff Bezos part so he could react to it later for his channel

I remember Scru said he only heard the first line of Bezos' first verse and he was really loving that "Lex Loser" diffusion and "Ramadan" bar, and if I'm remembering correctly he got the "Allah Mode" bar from them
