This lore channel is probably my favorite. It's informative, to the point, no extreme speculation, no AI art while all artists work is credited.

This should be part of the Middle Earth Mysteries playlist!

I do love how Third Age Total War: Divide and Conquer handles this area (calling it Numeriador).
It's quaint, contains two small villages (even in elven building style!) and is very valuable land if actually developed. A wonderful site for Elven Vs Dwarven wars :)

Imagine your bloodline being so hard-core that not once but twice, your people relocate their entire civilization to be further from safety to better defend the other peoples of the world

Do a video about all the different burial rituals in middle earth

In cases like these, I usually figure there are small, scattered populations here and there or the land has been scarred by some disaster in the past that made people not want to live there.

A native from the river Luhn is called a:
Luhnatic or Luhny

Baranduin means 'brown river' and Anduin means 'long river' so clearly the elves didn't out too much effort into naming rivers.

The Grey Mountains are ready to fight for the title

It's got a name - A

I always assumed that would be the Arthedain countryside and now a part of what they call the Lone Lands

Where the long arm of southern Blue Mountains tranches eastwards toward Brandywine, there lies similar land in my point of view. Far away from enemies, probably fertile and rich in natural resources. I can't see why it would be uninhabited.

The vales of Lun

Sauron, the Lunes have come to say goodbye. Your excellent work helps keep me sane. Many thanks.

I wish there's a true open-world game that lets you explore the vast land of Middle-earth. So much wonders to travel and sightseeing.

Since you brought up non-canonical names, The One Ring Roleplaying Game helps us out here. In the first edition (Cubicle 7) the region between the Blue Mountains and the River Lune were called East Lune in the common tongue, probably because of it being east of the mountains. According to Realms of the Three Rings for the second edition (Free League Publishing) the Elves named this region Dor Lirrendir, the Land of the Singing Wanderers.

The area west of the Lune and east of the Twilight Hills is simply labeled as Lone-lands. The Bree supplement (Cubicle 7) also names the region between Bree-land and the Brandywine as the Outlands, which might have been inhabited by Bree-landers who established scattered farm-holds within it.

For my own purposes (tabletop gaming) I've given a name to the stream that flows eastward out of the Twilight Hills to feed into the Lune. I call it Siruial (Twilight River).

I'm sure that if I went back to a map of Eriador for MERP (Middle-earth Role Play) then I would find completely different names for these regions. I don't have most of those books anymore.

Absolute favorite type of content from you, Darth. Banger. I'd love to see a video where you discuss settlements, places of interest, and geographic features referred to in text, but not present on the maps considered "canon". Great stuff as usual!

West of the Lune - part of Lindon.  East of the Lune - part of Arthedain / Arnor.

two possibilites I have come to believe about all these lesser known places is that one they did not matter to the overall stories so that is why they did not get more information. Two tolkien had some flaws with world building and that is completley fine so does alot of the other great authors.
