Most of these dragons feel like borrowed dragon city designs

I'll forever be PISSED AS HELL that they used a razorwhip for the fire tornado scene when there's LITERALLY A DRAGON KNOWN FOR MAKING FIRE TORNADOES?? THE TYPHOOMERANG?? PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY FAVORITE DRAGON'S NAME 💔

Actually screamed when Hiccup's leg got crushed 💔

It’s weird how Feathers is the only one of the main dragons I like

This honestly felt like fanfiction, rather then an actual series.

Also Edit. I didn't think my comment would get this many liking it. But I appreciate that many also have their own views, yet also can tell that this series is not good.

Bro is never recovering from the live action skrill

Still think it’s wild how they gave the Asian character a dragon that has slanted eyes and a Chinese mustache and beard

I have a rule that anything Peacock releases I refuse to be considered canon. This includes The Nine Realms and Megamind Rules.

Oh my God it's been 5 years. I feel like I'm rapidly aging.

I swear on the Odin's name a Httyd fan better get the rights to make their own httyd series to bleach our eyes off this monstrousity

I was willing to give this series a chance, until I happened to be told that they destroyed the book of dragons and other important belongings from the original series and more or less called it worthless…

honestly for me it just felt like they tried making another show like camp cretaceous due to its success but clearly failed to do that

18:28 that leg also could have been studied to understand the process of creation in Hiccups time, the leg was an incredible design for its time.

The entire show was for nothing. It starts with Humans being separated from Dragons and ends with Humans being Separated from Dragons. There isn’t even any reason for it as all the problems are fixed. It’s for nothing.

Also don’t get me started on the implications that the existence of packs of nightlights causes (incest), the animations errors, a norse god showing up, etc.

I think the fact that Alex and Feather's bond felt more REAL was because of the earlier fact that Alex is less cardboard-y than her friends. She's afraid of animals and the outdoors....so to befriend a deadly color-changing reptile, even if it isn't currently trying to hurt her? That takes guts! She has some character development just right there.

I also think the Flamethrowers and the Skytorcher are pretty cool! I love the Jormungandr's CONCEPT, but I so agree it's just so darn SMALL. Make it Bewilderbeast size, AT LEAST, please.

also I noticed the Minecraft music Creator in the background when you were talking about Eugene! I love that track.

it was a shockingly good ending because we were so relieved it ended

I feel bad for the few quite good dragon designs that were wasted on this show.

I want my dragon to look like a dragon, is that such a bad thing.

The designs of the dragons killed it for me tbh. Thunder's design for example is very... coarse? I dont think it matches the look of the Furies especially when he's supposed to their offspring. Im used to the clean streamline look which is also my problem with the live action Toothless design. Also, WHY is the unicorn thing here? Like mentioned in the video, its from a non-cannon spinoff. Atleast i can sort of say tnr isn't cannon 😅

And I cant with the disrepect of Hiccup's leg 😓

I haven’t even watched the vid yet but I can tell ya one thing: as an amateur animator myself, I’m so confused how the animation quality of this show is just….meh. Like, I’m only a beginner, I’ve only been animating for a year and a half, and you’re telling me that this million dollar company’s animators made stuff that looks like I made it? What?

also the poor fury redesigns. I love the idea of different tails and the crazy color schemes (I also have a good theory that avoids the inbreeding) but the babies’ faces are squashed, the parents’/Thunder’s/Elder’s faces are too cattish or froggish, and their wings are just put on wrong.
