Awful bulbous looking

I bought my LS 50 Wireless a few years ago now after watching your and have the Wireless 2 and have had great time listening to them. Will wait for the comparison video, hopefully of LS50 W2 V LS LUXE. And maybe I will upgrade again, I am a very lazy audiophile.

How come even the LS60 wireless can't even achieve the same bass frequencies at 26Hz at -6dB. My Formation Duos can achieve 24Hz at -6dB. Yet the LS60 have a taller cabinet floor standing size and the special force cancelling drivers 4 of them. And they still can't achieve lower bass frequencies.

I have LS60, I think they are beautiful, the Luxe to me are pretentious.

Sound wise, it might be interesting to hear the Luxe in here but... I'm not in a position to spend large chunks of money.

I am sub curious though.

I have a Rel T5x elsewhere, I'm not sure what it would bring to the LS60 on their own.

I could go 2x Rel T5x but again, not sure if it would make a huge difference.

2x KC62 might but it is a huge investment.

Considered a single KC92 as well.

Trouble is, I am extremely tight on space.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Great for a smaller space

It is crazy that they've released a new pair of speakers even though they've not been able to make a good app in 5 years.

Hi John, if you ever get the opportunity, I’d love to see your review of the Cambridge Audio L/R X — especially how they perform with electronic music, house and pop. I’d be really interested to hear your take on them. Many thanks!

Also look similar to recent Genelec brand.

I don’t think they can beat SN3 with Harbeth combination

I went to listen to them in the hifi store. Comparing ls50w2 (which I have), lux and ls60W. And I am confused now with your review because to me they sounded better than the ls50W2 as well as the LS60 wireless, which then also gives a different view on the prize versus value. , completely contra to my expectations based on your review (namely ls50w2 - lux - ls60W). And all without subwoofer(s). My advise would be to compare them side by side also.

I don’t like the look at all.

As someone who has the LS50 W2 and a KC62 sub, is it worth upgrading?

@salmorreale7900 1 month ago

I think Im sticking with my LS50 Wireless II's.

Just got these, the bass in my 10 x 14ft is insane.

They are going to end up in a larger game room.

Love the look of these and the idea of the resin enclosures instead of the usual MDF. In my experience, hard wiring hifi always sounds better than relying on wi-fi. I was just wondering if, while you have them, you could try a second listening test with the Luxes hard-wired into your router and hard-wired to each other? Just a thought...

It looks weird ! They look more like a style statement....

I wonder how KEF felt when they heard StreamUnlimited is now owned by Bose. Bose says StreamUnlimited will remain open and independent, but the real test will be how robustly customer data, product roadmaps and engineering priorities are firewalled from the wider Bose group, inlcuding direct competitors like Sonus Faber.
