It only gets better from here. The Karl Pilkington rabbit hole is incredible.

The animated show IS EPIC

When karl is talking about stephan hawkings and he says "if i were in his, shoes" he so wanted to say "if i were in his chair" 😂😂 8:26

He kind of is the common man's philosopher. Interesting.

You two are really lovely people. The kind of humans that make this beautiful planet a better home 😊

*What's a potato clock" 😂

Please watch "Learn English with Ricky Gervais (and Karl Pilkington)" too!

He has a book, if you read it you can tell its wrote by him

Karl Pilkington- England's greatest national treasure.🏆

I like you two. You cheer me up 😊

“Pack it in Steve. Have a rest”

One of my favourite Karl lines

I like watching you guys, thanks. Do more Karl, please

Stunning and smart.... you lucky man   👏

I believe you were thinking of the "Baghdad Battery", pottery vessels found with metal tubes/rods. One is reported to have had traces of an acidic substance inside, as such it was theorised that they may be very weak batteries (as opposed to the more accepted container of scrolls theory). However, one was certainly found with rotten papyrus inside, and others with unknown organic material.

The problem with the battery hypothesis, it really lacks any credible evidence. Much like anything else that becomes an archeological conspiracy theory, the fact they can't prove it wasn't a battery, means that the "so you're saying it could be?" argument is applied, which is rather unscientific an approach.

Anyway, as others have said, keep bringing the Karl! Although he is a bit below average IQ, he does have an entertaining view of things. My vote is for An Idiot Abroad.

"Isn't it amazing we are all made of star stuff in a deterministic universe?"

"You don't need to know that. Just remember we all take a dump"

This will be fun, there's a Ricky / Karl dynamic on and off screen

I recently played a chess tournament and on the board next to me was a blind player. Absolutely amazing to witness! I love you Karl but open your mind!

You guys need to do the Ricky Gervais Show for more Karl!

There must be a “Learn English with Ricky” with polish subtitles on YouTube. Hope you find it

No “research” went into the Big Bang, and nobody, “discovered” it. It’s a theory that has been accepted.

8:52 Well you are lucky then because Karl wrote 3 books actually. He is a great illustrator also. He actually proved Ricky and Steve wrong because they couldnt believe a person could write a book without ever reading one. I think Karl might be the only person in history that did that.
