If you've followed Karl Pilkington on his global tour of absolute misery, you know this moment has been a long time coming. Today, I’m watching and reacting to the series finale of An Idiot Abroad: Karl Comes Home for the very first time! 🏠✈️
Going into this blind, seeing the sheer, unadulterated joy on Karl's face the second he touches British soil is priceless. After being dragged through every bizarre, uncomfortable, and downright dangerous situation Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant could dream up, his final thoughts on the whole experiment are pure comedic philosophy. Watching him walk back through his front door is one of the most satisfying endings in television history. My jaw hurt from smiling and laughing the whole way through!

It’s what got me hooked on podcasts about 20 years ago. Thanks for this, guys!
💙🥂
Season 2 is absolutely amazing, better than season 1. One piece of advice is to skip the intro for every episode in S2 because there are a lot of spoilers!
Looking forward to season 2.
Karl is hilarious, love your reactions.
That sums up who Karl is perfectly.
"Meet Karl Pilkington" has two videos, 1 & 2. Ricky and Karl are much younger. Gives good introduction to him.
