7 Olive Oil Brands Sold in Canada You MUST AVOID (And 2 That Are Actually Worth It)
Olive oil looks like one of the simplest products in the grocery aisle—but quality can vary dramatically from bottle to bottle. Harvest dates, country of origin, storage, processing, packaging, and whether an oil actually delivers what its label promises can all make a difference.
And while words like extra virgin, premium, cold extracted, and imported can make almost any bottle sound impressive, the details behind those claims can tell a very different story. Paying more doesn’t always mean you’re getting better oil.
In the next 22 minutes, we investigate 9 olive oil brands sold across Canada, examine the quality and labelling details that caught our attention, and reveal the 7 we’d think twice about—and the 2 that are actually worth your money.
Watch this before your next trip to the cooking oil aisle. 🫒🇨🇦

I usually avoid "blends" as they are usually mixed with canola oil, so I always lean towards EVOO... BUT I did not know about the best-before dates, and the origins.
Great info!
Definitely something I will consider for future purchases.
