This is one of the rare occasions when a professional has managed to make the transition to amateur video successfully - such that it is almost a professional-quality parody of an amateur video.

"I'm tired and I ache" - I felt that

I keep hearing Jeremy’s voice in my head, “Captain Slow chops AN vegetable”

That saucespoon seems like a great way to grow yoghurt in the cutlery drawer

You're supposed to leave the bulb of the onion intact so when you make the vertical cuts it stays together so you can make the horizontal cuts and make it into little pieces.
This is like high school cooking stuff. It was one of the first thing they taught us was to peel the onion and always leave the stock end on when dicing because it keeps it together.

"It's easy to get lost in your own multi-tool." James May, 2025

"it's thingness is high" - the best compliment a mother can give to a child

I think we need a whole video dedicated to what the knife scissors can cut through

Lego James May still being around makes me happy.

The onion slicer gadget is genuinely useful.  It's the only way I even try to dice an onion by cutting.  If I want smaller bits of onion, I just quarter and put in a food processor, when the excess fluid that creates isn't an issue.

Beyond that, leaving any of the skin on the onion is disgusting.

not removing the last onionskin layer before cutting made me cry!

How does it still baffle James after 60+ years on this planet that if he puts lubricant(butter) on a surface (bread) that the next layer (pb) will not stuck on to the lubricated surface aferwards?

The sheer unbridled joy that James was experiencing with the multi tool has absolutely made my week. Amazing.
And perhaps I will clear out that cupboard under the sink...

Multi-tool seems great for camping!

Put a check valve in the tube near the spoon end to avoid contamination of the milk container, and prevent loss of milk pressure prime.

A splatypus ? puts on hat Perry the splatypus

My word those "knife-scissors" are frighteningly effective!

"Chosen by Miss Brown and Eve... they're in here somewhere."

lol the rain and war sequence 😆😅🤣😂
