Also I forgot to add a spoiler warning intro, there's only spoilers for Danaganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa Another 1 in this video. I reference one location in SDRA2 in the video, but it's not a spoiler and that's the only time I mention that game. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

I am so glad Linuj didn't make Kanata the 2nd killer, because that unused execution is nauseating.

To add on to the part about Akane’s execution, in the prologue when everyone is introducing themselves to Yuki, Yuki mentions to Akane that her uniform somewhat resembles a maid cafe uniform. This annoys Akane and she tells Yuki to not compare herself to “those part timers”, and later adds on that what she’s doing is not for otakus and that she takes pride in her work because it helps people in need and gives them happiness. So for her to literally die in the position of a type of person that she looks down upon is just gut punching-

Linuj really doesn’t hold back when coming up with ideas for execution. When it comes to Tsurugi’s execution, one detail that I really love (because it just makes the execution that much more fucked up), is how it ends with him dying in an exploding building. It’s something that might not be seen as very significant, until you remember that his childhood best friend, Sasaki Kouhei, died from a terrorist bomb and Tsurugi blames himself for what happens because he didn’t tell him the bomb was a trap quick enough

Rei cannot catch a break from nearly being executed, can she?

Ok, let's see if I can create one for Maeda:
-Around Maeda are 16 doors. One leads to freedom, one leads to death, the rest will do nothing. He begins opening doors, seeing room themed after the other students talent, and their corpses standing in the middle. He opens all of them except one doors. He is confused, but he opens the last one... and it's an empty room. Literally. Everything in the room is white, void of anything. He enters, confused, before the door shuts behind him.
The door opens once again, and Utsuro walks out.
Later, if asked, Monokuma explains that the door was both. The one that lead to freedom and released Utsuro once again and killed off Maeda. He never stated that there were two different doors.

These alternate executions really like tying people up

9:34 You know what would have made this execution worse/better? It could have just referred to her as the Ultimate Sniper instead of her name just to screw with her even more

Fun fact, Everyone who received Utsuro’s luck from him directly ended up having the red void spiral eyes including Kinjo.

Small note: Kisaragi didn’t get one because he was intentionally written without one. Utsuro also has one but it’s a combination of all the canon executions

I don’t know why but my brain thought of a way to improve Teruya’s execution (or make it worse however you feel about it) warning for those who aren’t the best with blood or amputation.

So instead of killing Teruya immediately they could take one limb at a time so that he could see people actually buying the boxes and when they see that it’s Teruya’s limb then they’ll be disgusted with it and the more they buy and realize it’s just Teruya the less money they want to give and Teruya sees how worthless he truly is. That would be horrifying and I don’t know why I thought of this right away but here we are

IDK if anyone else may have thought of this, but in Akane's execution, she's literally bending backwards for her master

So you're telling me that Inori was basically the og Kanade of the SDRA series?

I love Rei's execution. It reminds me of peko's execution. I love emotional execution rather than gruesome one.

While you said that kizuna's execution  reminds you of Leon's, I honestly think Maki's resembles it a lot more. They have similar thematic elements: both dying by a talent they were not even passionate about.

Terrified for when she eventually does SDRA2 and sees Yuri’s 😭😭😭

It definitely would have been hard to make Kinjo a killer simply bc he is so extreme that he opted for mass sewer slide over letting someone commit murder

The only one missing is Yamato. I guess LINUJ wasn't really planning anything for him and just kills him off.

Kinjo's execution, mainly that end part where he's driving out of control into a police station reminded me of that iconic ending scene from Doctor Strangelove: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb. Yes I'm on about the scene where he's riding the bomb and laughing like a maniac. Tsurugi is not the type to give up on his mindset so let me leave you with the image of a mad cop in an out of control police car, laughing like a maniac as he crashes into a police station with the unbridled belief that what he did was the right thing.
