Some family secrets refuse to stay buried. *Amelia’s Children, The Lodgers, Marrowbone, The Pact, Hereditary,* and *Umma* show how hidden crimes, disturbing bloodlines, abuse, curses, and choices from the past can destroy the people who come after them. Both Hereditary and Umma are both interesting attempt at depicting a narcissistic or at least harmful parent's legacy, even after their passing, they'll hurt their family.

Marrowbone is such a good film. The twist actually shocked me quite a bit, very well done.

Poor Jack, he suffered too much.
Also, Umma is mother in Korean, not that she called her mom that. It's like calling Mom in english
