Did you know that people dive backwards out of a boat because if they dove forward they would still be in the boat hope this helps

29:15 the compass was spinning because they woke up in the nether. This also explains the lack of water, as it instantly disappears.

So weird that they picked an event where you describe the sun having a chance to char broil us in a flash and this movie takes that and says "what if ocean dry?"

someone out there was paid Thousands of Dollars to make a decision that ended up with Crabs high on Oxygen attacking a family while i work for minimum wage

If all the water shifted somewhere, they would have been pulled along with it. Like a turd being flushed.

if the ocean was returning in just a few minutes, wouldn't they hear that? i imagine that an entire ocean, rushing towards you, mere minutes away, would make quite the sound.

Anglerfish will never be wiped out. They will grow legs out of spite to dance on humanity's grave.

Roanoke, the concept you describe for filmmaking is called Chekhov's gun:
"If a gun is on the mantle in act 1, have it fired by act 3 or don't put the gun there."

Hi! French-speaking American marine biologist here — this movie hurts me

Roanoke is overthinking this. When the poles shift, all living things get really thirsty. So they drank it all. Its simple economy after all.

To explain the "pan thing" and how it's being misused in this movie: Pan-Pan is type of emergency call that's used for non-urgent situations (example: boat out of gas) vs Mayday which is for life threatening situations (example: boat actively sinking in the ocean). By calling both in, the mother is sending mixed signals, so even if someone came to help them they'd probably take longer and be ill-equipped.

You should talk about that weird 2007 movie called "Aaah zombies!". People who are drunk are able to communicate with the zombies and also see them as human.

Roanoke, we're approaching April 1st. The 4 year anniversary of our promised Lore and morphology of Dabny Devito. The balls in your court...

This was probably the most accurate depiction of the inept rich family being put in a harrowing situation. The only hard to believe part was any of them surviving.

20:21 Wait. Hold up. This family was out in the middle of the ocean and suddenly some random guy and his dog show up?!? And while I'm thinking about it, how far is this family supposed to get in one week that they could get anywhere significant on what used to be the ocean floor? I totally agree with Roanoke. This is a terrible movie!
