Those are the early stages.  You haven't even made it to the real bullshit.

I remember seeing a quote from the director that went along the lines of, "Super Mario 64 released a few weeks before Bubsy 3D and we realized we were screwed."

Fun fact: Bubsy's va in this game is Lani Minella, the actress who would later voice Rouge the Bat in Sonic Adventure 2.

god i've always wanted to drive a bobcat-flavoured tank through a low-poly nightmare

Fun fact: When Bubsy fell into the water, he bobbed up and down, counting to three before finally, actually drowning. This is an old joke about people bobbing up and down three times before they actually drowned, supposedly in reference to advice for lifeguards and such to check if someone was in need of help. It's joked about in a lot of older media, including Looney Tunes which Bubsy borrows from heavily for it's identity.

Legends say the Bubsy team was very engaged in developing this game, aspiring to be the first game of its kind. Then Super Mario 64 came out while this game was still in development and all they could say was: "oh shit".

Here after Bubsy 4D was announced lmao

The most tragic thing about Bubsy 3D is that 1996 release date really, because if it had been released like a year or two earlier it would have been forgotten, but having it go up against Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot really just puts into perspective how ass backwards the whole game is.

This makes Jacob the Farmer look like Elden Ring

Mate it's Bubsy. What'd ya expect?????????

seeing bubsy explode into polygons without hearing the glass shattering sound effect feels so wrong

Actually, "paws!" on a pause screen is pretty funny

as one of the very few people who actually enjoys bubsy, bubsy 3d included, may dingus have mercy on your soul

What could pawsibly go wrong?

i’m six seconds in. this is already borked in the best way possible

The idea of having collectables that are also ammunition if you dont collect them is... a choice.
