Welcome to this tutorial showing one of three outfits I have done using men’s thrifted Flannel Shirts.
This time I’ve taken humble thrifted flannel and transformed it into a bold red-and-black outfit with a little country, a Little Rock ‘n’ roll and a whole lot of Revamp Revolution attitude.
The skirt features that fabulous red tartan flannel, teamed with dramatic black ruffles and a coordinating flannel collar and cuffs, then used the leftover flannel to create heart appliqués across the front.
I love projects like this because they show just how much potential there is hiding inside clothing that someone else no longer wants.
