The Descendants- 00:00
Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, and Aaron Carter- 04:27
Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Nick Jonas: 15:18
Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Joshua Bassett: 33:48

I've been dying to talk about ancient drama once more so please enjoy all the forgotten Disney feuds which involved far too many men I think. Lindsay Lohan crashing Hilary Duff's premiere was a historic event that will be remembered. Basically I miss when celebrities were chronically online instead of the fans because the mess could actually feel unserious. And if you haven't watched the original Descendants trilogy, you are truly missing out.

Also the Sabrina vs Olivia vs Josh happened in peak of the pandemic, so like we were SOOO BOREDDDDD. No one would’ve cared if it was a year prior

It’s honestly crazy how many of these love triangles were literally just The Madonna-Whore complex played out in real time for the entire public to consume

You can’t just casually drop that there is a camp rock 3 and then move on.

i hate to admit this but hillary duff’s commercial is what made me stop saying “gay” as a derogatory term. i was in middle school and it was slang - everyone would say it, most of us not even knowing it was something wrong. its just ironic because now I know i’m trans and gay, but i had no education or people around me to help me figure that out or even introduce lgbtq topics to me. so basically what i’m saying here is: hillary duff made me gay.

Wasn’t Mandy like 21 when all the Miley and Mandy show drama was happening? Why was she even getting involved in teenager beef

Also if we are bringing up these old relics, can we talk about how Mandy was a grown ass woman? Lmao. She was Miley's best friend doing sleep overs and the Miley and Mandy show while Miley was a young teen girl and she was a whole adult lol.

I can't imagine being a grown adult having a slumber party with my 15 year old best friend at their house where they live with their parents lmao. And then going online to talk shit with her and make fun of other kids

the olivia/joshua/sabrina drama was so annoying to me at the time bc i felt it was obvious that it was just a regular break up and everyone involved had feelings about it bc of course they did! that’s normal!!
to me, olivia’s song was just her expressing her feelings and insecurities surrounding the break up, not her exposing or dissing anyone. my tl was FULL of vitriolic hate and threats towards joshua who imo, didn’t do anything wrong. i saw a few people on my tl calling sabrina a mean girl and olivia messy, which was also insane to me bc no one did anything wrong! this was such a normal situation but the internet was determined to make someone the bad guy without any regard for how it would affect these people. ugh i’m getting annoyed all over again.

when i was 13 i hated miley cyrus' music but realized that i liked 7 Things, and this caused me a genuine emotional crisis (because teenage boys are weird). i distinctly remember that when i told my friend at school about this, she got mad at me because she thought miley was bullying selena, and she didn't talk to me for the rest of the day. this stuff was not a game
