Not sure if it actually counts as an ad, or just more of a collaboration. But the entire music video was made using an iPad

It's crazy how Ado goes from collaborating with one of the biggest chocolate companies in Japan to make an ad, to collaborating with Apple to make a music video. Then in April, she will be performing in the opening ceremony of the World Expo in Kyoto, basically representing Japan to the world.

it is absolutely no wonder I love this song

Its not really a commercial song, the music video was just drawn on an ipad. The lyrics has nothing to do with apple as far as im aware

"Value" is a song that is dear to my heart and always makes me cry. I don't think this is an ad for Apple because there are no videos of "Value" on Apple Japan's YouTube channel. I think they probably just provided the equipment and software. And I totally get your point, because her incredible range and emotional versatility overshadows the quality of the song.

I agree with you. There are other phenomenal songs in ADO's song list...but this one, reached to the sky.

best ado's song

Value is a super underrated song. I absolutely can agree with putting it number 1, it's probably my personal favorite.

her most underrated song by a mile

There is no Ado song i do not adore to death but this one, goddamn it hits different. It is by far my favorite Ado song and my 2024 SOTY without a doubt, i probably heard it over a thousand times this year and i still got goosebumps every single time!! The production, her voice, that switch to bossa nova for the bridge, etc just WOW 💜

i love this song soo muuuch

Love this sooo much💙💙💙

Oh snap new number 1 let's go!

I knew this would definitely break your top 5 over a month ago. It was a collaboration with Apple the video and im pretty sure the sound mixing were done on an Ipad Pro. So a psudo commercial but not really. Hoping after you catch up on her official releases that you do react to her cover album next.

I love the arrangement in this

Wanna hear a power metal ramen commercial?

U.F.O (U Feel Overjoyed) by Tokoyami Towa.

That's funny, this is obviously one of her top tier songs but for me the top tier songs that could be sung by other singers (like this one or New Genesis) are the ones I score "lower" (as in lower in the top tier), not higher.

Hey, I think some other people also wrote this some time ago, but you actually missed one of the Uta songs: 'I'm Invincible'.

Otherwise, yeah, Value is such a well-rounded song. Very nice 👍

The main theme of this MV is to use only iPad Pro and related apps for drawing and production throughout the entire process
The main content direction is based on the concept that "humans will continue to advance and evolve in the same way"

The MV producer " G-ko(G子)" has often used IPAD in his work., maybe Them just want to use this to stir up a topic. Rather than advertising, I think of this as a kind of cooperation (after all, in the interview, it was mentioned that the model was used in 2022, and it is not reasonable to say that it is a sales promotion🤔)
Just like if there is A DJ only uses Game Boy sound sources and game consoles to mix. You don’t think he is advertising for Nintendo, right?🤣

I think this is something that can be used in modern times when so many fast and convenient software can support animation production.
We should give more respect to works produced in old or inconvenient ways. 😤
This can be considered just as admirable as when a Japanese "Mirror Panel (ミラーパネル)" spent 4 years creating a 30 minute or longer animated series called "うごメモ戦士" using built-in drawing software on the Nintendo 3DS in 2020😱

Recently Ado released a new song written and composed by herself, and the MV is also very crazy. hope you can check it out as soon as possible.
